Seems to be a lot of Fake accounts bidding

I tend to watch mult items that are identical and when you see the same ********59 bid on every one of them and then the a different bidder bid on all again, back and forth, it seems fishy. I feel they have a minimum they have to sell it at. Seems too fishy that it happens consistently with most things. Luggage is one of the biggest ones. But there are some good deals

Love the service in Stow Ohio

First off, the organization and the pick up and the friendliness of everyone that worked there has been extraordinary. Even when there’s a long line, I feel that we’re taking care of in a timely matter. I can usually get in and get things picked up and get back on the road within 15 minutes. The guys that work there will come out and help you load if you have several things. When I have had to return something, the process is easy and quick. Why I only gave it 4 stars is because there’s been several things that should never have been put on the auction site. There are obvious parts missing or it wouldn’t come on when I got it home if I have to plug it in. But like I said, if there’s something genuinely wrong, they are very good about making it right.

Variety and Prices ???

Since the app changed, so has the variety of the items listed. Every auction lists the same items, and they are overpriced. What happened to the items that were previously sold? I really enjoyed purchasing from your auction, but not anymore. I hope things improve…

Good but not great. Somewhat buggy, poor search

Overall the app does the bare minimum. You can usually find interesting items, bid on them, get notified when outbid or win, and schedule pickup or delivery.

But it does glitch enough at the end of auctions that will sometimes miss out on an item you wanted.

Big flaw for me has been the very limited search capability. I get spoiled by apps that use a google-like search bar. Until today, the app would search for any item that contained any word in your search and often return items that did not. If you search for PAPER TOWEL, you would get everything that included paper or towel. Today, the search changed and now the phrase has to be exact. Somehow that’s worse. If I want a SOLO BONFIRE, I can’t search for both of those qualifiers without excluding items that may describe the item as solo stove bonfire. App needs to fix search to allow WORD & WORD. Or exact phrases only in quotes.

App works good but I miss the website!

The app is nice and much better than the last one. It has a lot of improvements. I used to ctrl F on the website to search the full description of the item but that’s not possible on the app. The keyword search only search each word individually instead of treating the entire search term as a single string. I’m not sure why but if I search “potato chips” it seems to search them independently. Maybe it is user error. Anyways, thank you for the app!

Hello! Before this app, keyword search and filtering were not available to our bidders. While searching by condition notation is not something that is currently an option, you are able to sort through items by keyword, category, current bid, and retail price. We appreciate your patience as we are releasing new updates and constantly keeping our customer's feedback in mind!

App is reflective of the company- garbage

If you search swords you get wigs if you search for sewing you get snowcone machines and diapers. This app is such garbage the only thing that works right is the bid clock but even that jumped 2 min on me the other day and didn’t win an item. They take the absolute worst quality pictures if they are not being lazy otherwise you get a pic of the brown box . Never check their descriptions to make sure it matched so you have to guess . Basically their search function is funckt really bad. Plus they have shill bidders driving up prices especially on higher $ products at the end . Along with their mandatory bid raise amounts . Really odd that someone who didn’t even bid just comes in and drives up the bid one time in last couple min knowing one bid will drive it up 20-30+ for next person to bid

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback on our search features, we will investigate this issue and take it into account as our app is always updating and improving for our bidders. As for the additional time on the clock, please note that OLA has always had a feature that extends time if bids are placed at the end of the timer. This has existed on previous apps as well, and allows other participants to be notified and partake if they wish. Additionally, we do not do any shill bidding. This app offers notifications to previous bidders before an item ends as a reminder for items they were interested in. Many users use this feature, which is why items may have more bids near the end. We hope this helps!

Good deals, app could be improved

My husband and I get things through OLA all the time. I understand that they are a salvage company and I don’t expect the app to be out of this world amazing or anything. I would just like to see their search capabilities upgraded. Right now, you have to type in very specific keywords to find anything. You cannot search by category like “pets” or “furniture” and expect to see anything close to the whole catalog. Also, the search thinks that I’m only typing in part of the word and will show me a bunch of options unrelated to my search. For example, if I search “cat toys”, the app will pull up a ton of options that start with the letters C-A-T so I’ll have to manually scroll through games of Catan or Quick Catch Tuna (C-A-Tch) when I wasn’t asking the app to show me these things. It also doesn’t know that I ONLY want CAT toys, not every single kids toy on the app. Very frustrating. I wish they would upgrade the search feature to be a more smart search that understands when I type two words separated by a space, I am looking for those two words together, specifically. It would be a huge help if they just had categories so I could see all the kids items, kitchen items, bathroom items, etc. Instead, you better know exactly the right words that they used in the title or else you’ll never find what you’re looking for. Because of this, it unfortunately makes browsing very tedious and annoying.

Item Fee

Unfortunately, the $2 per item fee discourages large item number hauls for me.
