Just recently downloaded coin snap, I’m super excited because so far, it’s doing an excellent job, makes it very easy to identify each coin and even grade it partially. So far, this is an excellent tool and it’s very easy to use.. great job, thanks!

Yes the pop up to create a subscription can be annoying, and if you are an avid coin collector the purchase may be worth it. Personally, I scanned some pocket change, found nothing and I’ve lost nothing either. This is a great and clever app and I’m impressed with the quality so far. interesting, needs work
used it 1time for a quarter coin. the “value” you put in is totally unclear. $ only I guess. so a Pfennig would be how many dollars?? A silver dollar 0.999 can be worth only $21 dollars? like after you put on train rail? Interesting that I can get a mint grade MT66 right out of my wallet. what do the mint letters mean? The value is dependent on several facts, not just the year. it’s solely its rarity. $2-$2345 is not enough even for preselecting a coin.Show lessGreen engine

my review on this is good and bad I like the ability to be able to view coins but I still believe there an app like this something like this should be free not money at all but I am I understand that the people who make it I have to have some money I guess but for serious, hard-core coin collectors for such a small thing on an app on a phone that’s ridiculous You can only scan so much before you have to pay and that’s stupidShow lessVkodaV
Inadequate
1. An improvement would be for the app to accurately document the year to match the photos of the coins.
2. If the app cannot accurately record the year of the coin, it should allow the user to input the accurate year to agree with the photo. This app doesn’t permit this action because it doesn’t include all of the year in the selection Pop-up. There’s, many of the photos in this collection don’t match the minted year so the values are inaccurate.
3. Lastly, it would be helpful if the app cataloged the input by year.Show lessEdinastyle

This is an amazing app, this has saved me hours of scrolling through google to identify coins. So easy to use even a child could use it . HIGHLY RECOMMEND- 5starsGmar666

So far so good. Trying to get familiar with it all. Hard to explain in text but In general all is good. Is still don’t know all the info and what services you provide but I’m sure I will find out. It would be great if it was all connected so if someone needed a coin I had it would be known if I authorized it to be public in the group and vise verse. And info on all the details on this subject. Premium account offers features that are not available
I like the ease of the app. Camera is good, and identifies coins accurately. Price range for scarce coins can vary by upto $50.
Premium account states that you can create collections based on your personal preference- this is not true, only recently some American coins series can be added to a collection. This feature was why I paid the yearly subscription, only to have to create my own manual list, I would have cancelled , except I have pre-paid for 12months.
If it’s not a feature, do not offer it.Show lessAtkinN

Love this app. I think some coins should have a little more value since the years are over 15 years old. I wish it could do this for bills as well. Overall love it.Viseu18

I recently acquired an 1856 flying eagle cent. Although rare, it doesn’t get recognized by the software. But it’s still an awesome app! But it would be nice to see it with a more inclusive range. Thanks for the app! Use it everyday since I got it!Scott Eriksen
