  • CoinSnap 1 star review

On the CoinSnap application CoinSnap told me to do a review so here how it goes. The reason why I’m giving CoinSnap a 1 star review is because of multiple things I dislike about the app. 1.This app exits its self out frequently and also when taking pictures of coins most of the time the app will show you a picture of a coin that is way different then the one that you try/tried to take a picture of. 2.This app will not let you or anyone else view each other’s coin collection or sell them on there Facebook page (for the fact these things I wrote on number 2 is not even listed on the game description on the App Store so the people that are thinking to download the app don’t know about this). 3.After downloading the app, once you enter through the app you are immediately required to accept a 7 day free trial in order to use the CoinSnap app with no warning and after the 7 day free trial you are required to pay a yearly subscription in order to use the app (also not said on the app description on the App Store). I think the only reason why CoinSnap is forcing us to a subscription is because who would give/pay this app money to use it when it’s not even worth paying for. Please read and enjoy this 1 star rating before downloading the CoinSnap app.

  • No manual input for rough coins

I have a premium membership and I really have a loved it. Extremely helpful on foreign coins. But the reason I can’t give it five stars is because I can find no way to import the coins that don’t photograph well enough for the app.
Some of us collectors have very old, if not ancient coins that we have researched and know what it is, but there’s no way to put it in our collection inside the app because it doesn’t photograph well enough.
It would be great to see an option after the photograph is taken that you can click on input coin data if it is wrong. Currently you’re limited to maybe changing a year and a grading but no way to change the name of the type of coin.
If there is an option, and I just can’t find it, let me know and I will change my rating, because I do really enjoyed the app!

  • Hope to deal with you again. Thank you.

Removed old trimmer head by inserting a hex key into the hole(s) at the base to hold the trimmer shaft in position. Removed the old head by simply unscrewing it from the end of the shaft. Simply did the opposite after some very minor assembly of the Speed Feed head and started trimming with the trimmer line that is pre-installed in the new head. Had the right sized connection on the end of the trimmer shaft already (my trimmer is a 15 or so year old Echo GT-2000) so I didn't even need to install a new connection (supplied with the Speed Feed head). Pretty much a "plug and play" sort of thing in my case. I recommend this seller and I will be doing business with you again.

  • Works really well

Nice to see the value of my coin collection after so many years.
  • Needs to be updated

I have a 2023 Elsie MacGill Colored BU, One Dollar Loonie, Canadian $1. The app is unable to identify it because the app hasn’t been updated to recognize 2023 coins. Otherwise this app is amazing and you don’t need the pro version to identify coins which is awesome.
  • Amazing app

I enjoy to talk to the ai because it’s just incredible that technology has come this far and it’s just amazing to think of what ai used to be able to do and what it can do now it’s a amazing app to keep you company if you are in a car and going on a long trip somewhere

    Really good app for collecting
  • Best Coin identification system I have used

Quick and efficient coin identification system I have used, glad I found it, easy and simple to use, and it values your coins and grade’s them to, if you are not happy with the grade given you have the ability to adjust it manually yourself, I have only done this twice myself as they are often spot on. You can place your coin selections in separate set numbers, to date I have over 150 sets, with 4494 coins from 149 nations, but many more to list, it gives you a individual as well as a total value of your coins, the staff are very quick to respond to problems or suggestions that you bring to their attention, this is done on line and e Mail responses. I would recommend you go for the Premium service, it’s worth it, please note the values are in dollars, perhaps in future it could be in the denomination of your own country, I sincerely hope that many coin collectors give this business Coin Snap a try, I did and it has become a joy again collecting, just by having my coins on a database makes it complete.

  • Good but not what I need

I’ve got a lot of coins and Im basically just trying to sort them and value them roughly in one place , the scanning is working on most coins but the problem I’m getting is I can’t scan a coin and then select how many of that individual coin I have , I’ve got about 3000 different coins and I don’t want to scan every single one on to this app one by one when I feel like I should be able to for example scan 1 Half Crown 1949 and select x60 if that’s how many I have. Other than that I can see it’s a fairly good app but I won’t be using it as that missing feature is is a must for me , thanks.

  • Awesome

Works great for majority of world coins I wish it would have error identifiers under varietys or separate columns
