  • I wish I could like it

The difficulty level of this game is way too high. The low levels of the story are basically calling for lvl 80 cards w devil flowers unlocked for you to be able to pass w flying colors instead of C’s. Having nestling unlocked devils flowers in all my cards and lvl 40+ cards and I’m getting C’s on lvl 6 and lower . It’s insane and my cards are high lvl cards too. The devil snaps are vid awful as well. It’s not even a video it’s a flashing picture and then captions on a black screen. Some of the lord doesn’t add up w old obey me from what I’ve heard. This game could be awesome, it has an incredible plot to work with. But it is such a blatant cash grab it’s rlly hard to excuse it’s faults.

  • Disappointed

Enjoyed the original game so much that I was excited for the new one. I decided to pay this time for a subscription to get VIP perks, etc. Ended up spending money on top of the subscription to get more Grimm and other goodies including Lucifer’s chess outfit. I treated myself because why not?

My phone that I downloaded the game on died. So when I got the replacement I assumed when I signed into my Apple ID all my data would transfer over. It did not and even cited that an account was not found associated with my Apple ID. Even though I am subscribed through my Apple ID.

So I lost everything, and decided I wasn’t going to try all over again and spend even more money. I deleted the app and cancelled my subscription entirely. It was fun while it lasted I guess.

Won’t be spending money on these apps again.

  • Love it, but one sad issue

Love the game, only have one huge issue, once I finished the tutorial with no issues on the songs, suddenly the songs started getting stuck loading at 50%, making it so I can’t progress in the storyline.
  • Events and other problems

Birthday events are no longer available and that just pisses me off considering theyve been a huge part of the original Obey Me! game. Those events would cater to a specific character so it baffles me why this would be removed especially since it encoueages players to pull for their favorite characters even more. Furthermore grinding is difficult without being a pay2win player, the card upgrading system is awful now because you’d need skill level 2 and thats just not possible because the joker cards are expensive/difficult to get OR grinding the card is difficult enough. So dissapointing because most of the concepts introduced are great but it just shows that there’s a huge paywall AND birthday events are removed and there are stilk multiple bugs in-game. Disappointing. Please do something about this.

  • Lives up the the original!

I’ve been playing the original Obey Me! since early 2020. I was a bit upset to learn they wouldn’t continue the Lessons on the original OM! app but my disappointment was gone when I downloaded Obey Me Nightbringer. The writing has improved an impressive amount, the story feels less like filler, it’s more significant. I enjoy the rhythm game SO much more than the dance battles from the original OM! it’s easier and I actually enjoy doing them. I dreaded the dance battles but I look forward to doing the rhythm game.

The story keeps me hanging on and wanting to know what happens next. I can’t wait to see what else they add to this app and also see how the story progresses.

  • Data Transfers

I love the Obey Me franchise and I was excited to hear that there was going to be a sequel. I was even ok when they announced that there would be no new chapters for the first game, that said I was extremely upset to find out that you couldn’t transfer your data to the new game. The amount of time and money people have spent on this game for it do be thrown in the trash is unacceptable. If you truly care about your fans you’d let them transfer everything that they had from the first game. Other than that the game is decent, not the best and not the worst, wish it hadn’t implemented certain things like the level caps and such.

  • Even more pay to win

They undid all the balancing they did in the base game, especially with events. The events in the original were very grindy and unfair unless you had a cheat cards. They remedied this a bit by having 2x boost periods. Not only have they gotten rid of this, but they have made less cheat cards in general so that you have to spend more money for event cards. I have been a fan of this series since release and I’m very disappointed in Solmare and how money hungry this game has become.

  • Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!

The app didn’t even give me one of those “rate our app plz🥺” things- I just love this game so much I’m writing it myself! The music and the gameplay are 100x more fun then the previous game with more stories and fun! And much more interaction! If you didn’t play obey me before I STILL recommend this app! (Unless you don’t have a new game to be absolutely CRAZY for!) all the character are absolutely precious and have so much fun interactions- I 100 % recommend this to anyone who likes rhythm games or cute guys

  • I really wish you didn’t require so much money for items.

It’s insane. I can’t believe people are spending 100’s of dollars on products that only last you 30mins worth of game play before you need more.

It’s such an amazing game, and I understand that maybe you need funding to continue to pay app developers and actors and engineers..

    But it’s a mobile game 😭
Imagine having to explain to my husband that I spent 2k on a game that’s only playable on my phone. He’d be livid. (I’m not married)

But imagine the amount of minors playing this game and charging their parents CC and Debit cards. It’s insane to think that this game is potentially preying on younger teens who easily fall in love with fictional characters. 😞

  • pay to win

I wish I could give this game better but oh my god I’m holding my cuss words for the changes you guys made. You made it so you literally cannot level cards past 70 without making it level 2. It makes the game much more gacha focused and… PAY TO WIN. I bought the $60 beginner package at the beginning and have done a bunch of grinding as well. I had to use everything… everything to get a single UR+ card to level 2. If you’re going to make level 2 necessary make it easier to get the skill level up cards, because my UR and UR+ cards are absolutely useless. I had to spend EVERYTHING to hope to use my Leviathan card. I’m heavily disappointed with the money-grabbing changes and I will be stopping my membership and all support for this game. I thought I had found a game that cared for it’s player base and their wallets, but all gacha companies are the same. You already had so much support for this game, people were going to spend so much money anyway. It’s so disgusting to use these tactics, preying on people who like dating sims.
