  • Good start with room to improve

I’m playing on a 14 pro max. High graphics settings Favoring battery Locked 60fps …what I’m actually getting? 🤷‍♂️ Objectively: Its basically a lite version of wz 2.0 on wz 1 maps. It still has sbmm. Its better on controller. The Good: It’s free! The lobbies aren’t filled with bots and 3 real players like codm. The matches are made to go by pretty quick compared to its console/pc counterpart. The Bad: In one word: pacing …. Let me explain ⬇️ If you are in a building and the gas comes you can safely assume you are already dead. Because you can not see anything except RED. controller support isn’t great in regards to being able to customize stuff like dead zones and changing tap/hold to interact. (It slows you down having to hold x or square to grab a gun. AND when there’s a dude right there wanting to shoot you, this is bad.) The load out drops don’t come until the game is basically over, AND it’s a TEN MINUTE rebirth match. GIVE ME MY GUNS SO I CAN USE THEM PLEASE. Side note: why does the load out cost 20k? No one uses comms, right? so you basically have to hope the load out doesn’t come down in some really messed up spot. And then 30 seconds later you hear “no more second chances” WHY? Why is this pacing so bad? I just want this game to succeed. Not trying to be negative but I have been playing warzone since 2019. I think I speak from SOME perspective of experience.

  • Wait for improvements

So I have COD Mobile and that game is amazing, this game is pretty disappointing. The graphics say they will improve over time but they I’ve played for hours and I don’t see any noticeable improvement. The graphics are significantly worse than COD Mobile, and bad enough that it makes it pretty hard to play because enemies are pretty much just a blur. The game makes my phone really warm, which CODM doesn’t do. Guns sometimes don’t even have a texture, making it impossible to even aim while other players are just lighting you up. I don’t notice any ranking system of any sort, not even between players using controllers. I’m matched against players who are either far above my skill level or are using an external controller, so I’m constantly getting destroyed. Settings are confusing and annoying to use, completely different from CODM. I know the games are separate but this game is almost unplayable after playing CODM. Maybe I’ll try the game again once things have been smoothed over but as of right now the game almost feels like the quality of a closed beta test.

  • It’s Warzone but…

This game released a year late. It’s basically Warzone 2.0 on mobile. Has the voice overs, maps and intro of Warzone 1, but the lack of lootable perks, no customizable perk packages of Warzone 2.0. Also there is not nearly enough vehicles to traverse the map and no redeploy balloons/drones. You can also see the zips and ascenders they added late in Verdansk but can’t use them. Now graphically..they tried but failed. The graphics are great but when they don’t render until I’m about 10 feet from the end of the world that makes the game nearly unplayable. There’s also no option to downscale graphics to try and have them load faster. Controller support is nice but there is not controller specific settings - in order to remap controller buttons you have to do it within the native settings app of your IPhone. Additionally I should not have to hold down the interact button for 3 seconds to open a crates or pick up a gun/killstreak etc. prioritize interact needs to be added ASAP. Delayed release of the game by a year and it’s still a completely unfinished product. It’s basically an alpha build

  • Warzone Mobile iPhone15

I knew this game was going to heat up, anyone who has gaming console/pc can tell you even MW3/WZ3 will run warm/hot but they have coolers for their equipment so it doesn’t matter as much. So if you think about it Warzone Mobile is a MOBILE game with a CONSOLE/PC gaming engine. It’s not TiMi studios where they specialize in mobile game engines, so be patient, play more games, the game will download more graphics on your phone as you play and your battery will adapt to your game. WZM developers are working to resolve issues based on USER INPUT, yes I know the game was in development for 3 years but a lot of that was make sure you can use cross progression, making maps to scale, adding in new weapons and movement mechanics, etc, etc…

I’m using a GameSir G8 Galileo handheld, Black Shark MagSafe cooler, and base iPhone 15. I love this game and it’s working well for me. I knew what was expected of this game so I’m not disappointed, I am excited to see the future of the game

  • An actual review

Yeah, it’s an okay game and all, I can navigate the controls and everything else but the constant lag and fps/ms drop and rise brings a very terrible experience for codm players trying to have a smoother gameplay without dying every time you’re in a gunfight, call it “skill issue” all you want but if weaving out existing players from other platforms based on internet connection, device or if they have a controller or not and/or just to migrate players from one game to another is a skill or money issue, you might as well hand over this game to the streamers and content creators cus they shred in this game far better than the minority, compared to C.O.D.M—this game, as of now, it’s not playable for me, and I have an iPhone, with this kind of device I should not have issues playing this game like how stupidly easy it is to get kills in C.O.D.M with this kind of device, I know it just released but cmon.

Also if it took this many people to work on this game (talking about all the major company names that made this game possible on the loading screen before you enter the game) that’s sad.

  • More then 10 gigabytes! Nintendo Switch processer

It will over heat your iPhone battery & quickly drain the battery plus the 4 gigabytes it only claims it needs is a lie it is 5 gigabytes plus another 5 gigabytes on startup then 500 megabytes or more every 30 days you will see at least 3 download screens taking more then 10 gigabytes. The game lags & crashes plus the graphics are low end! Just like Call of Duty mobile it claims it only needs 3 gigabytes yet it really takes 35 gigabytes & more every 30 days in updates! Get ready to dedicate all your phone memory to both Call Of Duty’s mobile greedy games! This is the equivalent of Nintendo Switch having games it should not have because it can’t handle the possing power of the game where you are playing against PC gamers & console gamers! PC games have the edge because they can use cheats & Activison will not do their job & ban the cheaters even on Call Of Duty mobile. I have not written a review for Call Of Duty mobile! The review I written her is similar a lot of people playing Call Of Duty mobile are using emulators not a iPhone or iPad!

  • The game on IOS is slow and laggy and heats up the IOS quickly.

my IPhone 13 turns into a oven (over heats) in less then 20 minutes of playing, I use gear up booster and I get 50-60 MS delay when on codm I get 40-45, the game only supports med to high graphics quality on IOS 13, I was so excited for this game but it’s got a lot of issues & bugs with it coming out internationally, but I can see yall the developers of this game is trying y’all’s best with the problems and is trying y’all’s best to fix it and is aware of the issues so thank you for that. - looking forward to a response! - the game has potential I can see it, but auto sprint on controller doesn’t work at the moment and the games really laggy and overheats my IOS, so I won’t be playing Warzone Mobile until the developers get the game to at least be playable on IOS, so with this being said I rate it 1/10 but if y’all can at least make it playable on iOS to where I can put my graphics quality on low etc it'd get that rating up a lot cause like I said I see a lot of potential.

  • Developers were brain dead?

Only thing that's any good is the game feels realistic but that too cannot be enjoyed for long as it lags every second game. And guys the whole format to this game is STUPID!!! Bare minimum sensitivity settings so you are never comfortable with your movement and aim. Also there's way too many similar and useless weapons and even more useless and confusing attachments, and to unlock each particular attachment for on gun you have grind on multiple different weapons. For example to unlock different Stocks for Holger 556 I need to level up the RPG and to unlock the next Barrel to the Holger I need to level up a totally different weapon. I've Spent $100 on the cod points to purchase battle pass and operators and blueprints but those weapons can't be customized or else they are not legendary weapons anymore you only have to play with default attachments on a legendary for it to function as legendary. Pure waste of time and trash. Why can't they make this game user friendly like Codm? It's made by the same brand.

  • Almost there

Great game. Def recommend a controller or backbone because they did try to fit all the features of the full console/ PC version on the phone which ends up taking a large amount of screen real estate. Also even on newest iPhone and iPads it’s cause overheating issues for me and in a room that’s 60° F. With it having it run on performance/ fidelity settings ignoring battery option a BR match takes about 15-20% battery on my 15 Pro Max. It def is power hungry. The controller lags when connected via Bluetooth or plugged in but not on other games. Controller settings are minimal at the time, mostly just screen settings/ layout for traditional mobile playing with touch screen. Would like to be able to program paddles on controller and other buttons. Switch play style to tactical, tap to interact prioritized etc. Overall great game, especially right at release and sure with server demands being high it’s not bad. Would hope to see updates come in the next few days/ weeks the latest to address issues because right now it’s more nostalgia of maps keeping me and many others hooked as opposed to gameplay and performance.

  • Overheat & Graphic Issues Sometimes Unplayable

The game is fun! I was shocked to be playing the warzone experience on my iphone! But then the game's unplayable lag came after a few matches...

At first The game runs alright on my iPhone 11 Pro Max...

running at a good 60fps with a lock on 'low looking' resolution graphics which arent so great, with my only graphical settings being mid to high which dont look good and are pixelated for me.

Its pretty pixelated and even hard to see enemies far away...

But this is playable enough.... I finally had the warzone experience in my hands, I was content. Until, the game began to overheat my phone, completely making the game unplayable due to graphical lag, and also since I play with gyroscope the gyroscope aim system that I use to aim with had hugeeee delays like by 2-3 second delays in aiming with gyro... completely unplayable.

With these factors I cannot play warzone after a few matches of MP or BR Due to overheating and Lag.

The devs need to make the graphics better for older iphones or ipads like the 11pro max and even the 12pro max... The Codm graphics on warzone for older phones might fix the issues Ive had, but that graphical update for older phones might never happen.

only if the graphics didnt overheat my phone, lag the game and gyro aim and ruining my playable experience... well then it might be 5 stars.
