  • Waste of time

Like the rest of these classic games on arcade it’s rigged. The shuffling is not realistic and you go through streaks of winning every hand and then winning nothing.
  • Nothing Random About This Game

I have to wonder about the developers. I have played Gin Rummy for decades…will real hand-held cards if you can believe it! This game is a lot of fun, yet exceedingly frustrating. All the negative reviews are spot on. While my winning percentage is better than my losing percentage, I’m not convinced it’s worth 5 bucks a month. So I’ve downloaded Hearts and Spades as well to fool myself into believing I’m getting my money’s worth. In any case, all these card games are addictive, but fall way short of expectations. I suppose I could be spending my dough on things more ridiculous. The graphics, layout, and animations are terrific so…guess I’ll keep playing until I quit playing :)
Update 10/1. I made to level 163, but I will be deleting this game, and the other card games from Arcade. In addition to all the accurate negative reviews, I find it extremely odd that the developers don’t bother responding…at all. The games are in pretty packages, but are so poorly developed. It’s all about the $5 monthly subscription fees. What a racket. Apple, you should address the poor quality of the games you endorse. I’m out

  • Shuffle system and cheating AI

Unfortunately a fun game turns into a slog due to a horrid shuffling system that gives one player an essentially perfect hand and the other nothing, most of the time the NPC opponent has the better hand and wins soundly within one or two turns or on an extended play gets all the cards they need while the player constantly draws high suit cards which should be so low on statistical probability it shouldn’t be happening. Fix the shuffling system and the game will be fun.

  • A lot of fun

    A lot of fun
  • Boring bad game

I cannot believe I am paying for this crappie game
Now they have multi player and its just a bad as the robotic game
The other player gets loaded from the start , I played for a hour the day and never won a round or even got a chance to knock . They were dealt a matching hand from the beginning and go out before I can get going .
This morning I figured out a secret ,since everyone is trying to get their deadwood as low as possible I would start just giving them low cards to begin with and they quickly got rid of the high cards. I won 9 rounds in a row , no game should be this extreme on either side of the deck . The support here is a lamé automated response as I emailed them several times and got the same response even when I told them about the nudity inside the game they gave the same silly automated response. I really wish there was a game that was worth the monthly charge but I grateful I had better sense not too buy the ONE , that is insanely stupid! Can you believe Apple needs to bleed more money out of us , they are so hard up for money!!!!!

  • Love it

Love this game, first time I’ve ever played this card game. Nice to learn something new. Only change I would make is : at beginner level for first few games, slow it down so I can see how the points are made and when given a ‘hint’ explain why briefly. Just would have been easier for people like me who like to learn as they play rather than constantly referring back to instructions.

  • Set Games

The back end of the game seems to be set, with numbered decks like Freecell is. Instead of random shuffles of the deck, it seems the goal of the game is to guess the pattern the game set has in play rather than playing the opponent, and even then it seems to work against you. There are far too many instances where your next draw is the 3rd card to the set you were working on, but happened to abandon in the previous turn (hold 2 10s for 4 turns, discard a 10 then your next draw is a 10). It looks like you are playing the computer opponent and the game as a third player.
After playing a while you can recognize the situation and know that you will be losing a hand before you even start. I can almost predict the next card that I will draw.

  • Bad

This is the true telling on how bad Apple is , this Game alone is generating so many complaints to Apple it is alarming. Yet this game still holds a paid for 4.7 rating even the reviews here show the truth. Just go to the most recent and count the math shows this one is not even close to 4.7 yet WE DO NOT MATTER, WE ARE ONLY CUSTOMERS! Remember when you had pride in owning a Apple product? The developer brags on a 300,000 downloads but forget to tell you about the 287,000 uninstalls !!!
    Update!!!
I was talking to Apple support yesterday and I mentioned the rotten bias game and the support claim even Apple workers have stop playing it because it was horrible. You cannot even get your hand organized before the BOT player knock —- over & over & over hand after hand .
I am in 1st place and think this game needs a complete overhaul along with the horrible support!!

  • Gin rummy yeah!

I had to read the rules on You tube to begin with. Once I understood that deadwood wasn’t the name of a town from a movie it became easier to play. Having an opponent to play against made the game more interesting.
