  • Love this game

I spend a lot of my free time on this game! It has no bugs that I have found and it works perfect! I couldn’t ask for a more satisfying game to play in my spare time. Thanks to the creator!
  • No point after reaching gold level

It’s brilliant up until you reach the gold tier 3. Then the computer player literally wins every round in less then 5 turns. They are dealt tremendous cards every round and the ones they need just happen to fall to them pretty quickly. Up till then it’s an awesome game just no point playing after.
  • Good, not great

Besides the annoyance of it asking for a review everyday. This game is fun, it has good settings so you can set the game to your level of experience. Where it misses is the time waste of giving you points after every hand so you can progress up the nonsense levels. Then when you finish a game it makes you wait for an opponent, as if there’s another human there, but it’s just the computer. If you got rid of these time wasters I’d give you 5 stars, or at least make them optional.
Question, is there a way to play against other people, actual humans?

  • Cheat

It’s cheats plain and simple. Plus cards are random from the deck. You need to go deep into deck to start pulling lower cards everything else is high. But just so you can’t just hold on to them they cheat and go out quick. Don’t get me wrong you will go on mini streaks but it senses it and turns your picks into trash.

  • Unrealistic play

The random meditation and this is really off. They also want to take too much control over your melds,And if you try to take longer than three seconds to think about your play, they want to throw all kinds of hence your way. I don’t need training wheels, I just need a card game. This might be the worst of the bunch.

  • It’s okay

The game is okay, but it doesn’t deal with any of the more fine-tuned rules of Gin Rummy that give the game strategy. Perhaps most egregious is it doesn’t score layoffs or even give you an opportunity to make them. As a result the game is simply who can cast off the fastest.
  • Fun but AI clearly gets advantage

After awhile and as you level up the AI starts to clearly get better RNG, while also magically holding discards you could use tuntil you are forced to discard 1 of 3 for a set. For example, I have a Jack and 10 of hearts. It holds the 9 of hearts for ages, soon as I discard one of mine it chooses to then discard the 9 finally. At first the game was fun, but the further I got into it you could clearly tell the AI was getting favored.

  • Terrible Game

The only strategy to this game is discard all tens and face cards before the other player, calls or gets Gin. The computer player rarely discards aces, two’s & three’s. But always seems to have at least two cards of the said three cards at the end of each hand. ZERO stars!
  • Needs work - opponent is easy to anticipate

First off, great game, but I can already tell I’m going to get bored of it. Here’s why:

The computer opponent does not play like a real human. Unless the computer is dealt a meld with high cards, all it does is rush to discard everything high for a quick knock. Although this is a viable strategy in Gin Rummy for humans, it is not done near as often in real Gin as it is done by the algorithms that drive this particular game. So now I have to change my real world strategy to best this game, which is not hard. If I am not dealt a high card meld right off the bat, I immediately begin shedding high cards in anticipation of an opponent knock. I will literally sit with a single ace in the hole and wait for the computer to knock. I will not knock myself because I know I will get a quick 25 pts for an undercut.

And the complaints of this game “cheating” are unfortunately somewhat accurate. Too often, as soon as I give up on a meld, the opponent will drop my needed card, like it knows what I was waiting for. It happens far too often to be a coincidence.

Like I said, good game. I will keep playing. But it needs some tweaks.

  • Nice game but needs some tweaks

It’s a nice game truly but my issues are some needed options. I want to be able to turn off the tips and be able to organize my own hand. Having the cards automatically put into melds gives me no control. I get to choose a card, a discard and when to knock. This doesn’t okay true to the ever changing strategy of gin. I find that I don’t play this as often because if this. It would be really great to have these options.
