About time
I’ve been using their web platform for some time now. Stoked that there is finally a mobile app.
Version two is smooth as well.

Editing is bad
How did they manage to fork up iOS text fields? Did they try to write their own from scratch? Seems like it. Basic text selection doesn’t even work.WokaWokaWoka

Pretty good but 2 suggestions
1) Give someway to reduce the horizontal width of the main browsing scrolling window.
I use WatchCrunch in landscape mode with a 11” iPad and Smart Keyboard. When scrolling through posts, if the post has images, it takes up the entire vertical space so that I can only see at most 2 posts at the same time. There should be 2 scrolling areas, perhaps somewhat like the default Mail app on the iPad (or even GMail app).
2) There’s something funky with the text entry when using either virtual keyboard or iPad Smart Keyboard. Whenever I try to select a block of text, it doesn’t behave well and it’s incredibly painful to do this.
I notice the changed green cursor. Whatever that is, please get rid of it and use the default iPadOS text selection mechanism.

Finally
I love watches but never loved the online discussion of watches. Too many trolls, too many weirdos, and too much hate on the internet. It’s odd to say but crunch not only created a place for us to talk about watches but also created a community of people, I’ve been to several meetups and it’s been awesome so far. They keep rolling out trick features as well. If you’re into watches this is the place to post & discuss.Show lessGreat app!

This app and community are very nice and helpful and welcoming. Without this I wouldn’t have even been able to do my travel watch ideas. I have met people who are genuinely interested in watches and share a similar passion to me. Keep up the good work guys

Great app
It’s a great app for a watch nerd like me. Very friendly forum. No judgements, just good chat. If you find some buttons are off screen you will need to go into your iphone settings and reduce the text size. The screens and buttons will then fit Yes for some of us our old eyes are not what they were. Put the setting back once you finish login. Cheers!Show lessDodger999
App very buggy
Great community. Lots of info from people who know what they’re talking about. The app is very buggy tho. I receive no notifications at all. I only see that I have them once I log into the app itself. All settings turned on properly. All my other apps receive notifications. Also when replying to a message or a thread after clicking on the notification I can type the message but no reply button visible anywhere. So I have to search for the original thread, then click on the person that replied to me, and then I can reply to them. Will change the star rating once all these bugs are fixed. 👍
Edit: just redownloaded the app (October 27, 2023). Seems like lots of things are fixed. Right away I noticed I’m getting notifications which I never did before. And when I click on the notification it actually takes me to the post. Much better already! 👍Show lesspolishpickles
