Excellent free unlimited app - no ads

How amazing to find this app.
It’s free, I can store unlimited DVDs, it scans bar codes, add your own tags (I use mine to say which box they are in), search by title, actor and genre (already there when you add a dvd).
So why only a four, well it’s not a fully populated database, but if you are prepared to click the report and give more info button then the developer can fix.
I reported one to see if they paid attention, a response by the next day and added to the database, so I have reported every one I have found so far.
Next draw back, but again developer responded to my email question, currently can’t share this across my own devices or with my partner BUT they gave me a work around using a backup file…it worked.
List is full exportable as csv or pdf, I haven’t tried csv but the PDF worked really well.
To the developer, keep up the excellent work. I love the tip jar idea and I will drop something in it.

Easy DVD library catalogue

Downloaded this app to check out for my brother who has vascular dementia & I need something simple for him to use. So far, it’s brilliant, easy to add DVDs, easy to locate which version of the movie you actually have, especially as my brother has a lot of old westerns & I have a lot of 1950’s movies myself.
I’m looking forward to setting up my library via the app when I have a bit more time.

Love this app!

So far this is the best DVD catalog app that I found hands-down. I have hundreds of DVDs in my collection and this app is so efficient I was able to scan most of them in one evening. Other apps place limits on the number of DVDs you can upload but this one lets you load up to your hearts content. So far it hasn't asked me for a penny. My thanks to the developer!

Great app

I like this app, but there seems to be no way to interact with this from multiple devices. This would be a good addition… icloud?

Hello, glad to hear, that you like the app. You are right, some kind of sync between devices would be a good addition. This is definitely on the to do list. In the meantime, you can transfer a collection to another device using the backup feature: Create a backup file and transfer (i.e. Air Drop) it to the other device and restore it there. Have fun!

Fantastic app

I’ve been looking for an app to help track my AppleTV purchases and with the customisation it’s easy to add a movie and tag it as AppleTV.

The great thing is unlike other apps that have separate entries for bluray, dvd, 4K and digital this one starts by adding the movie and then you assign it to all the formats you have it in.

I would love to be able to select tags such as 3D Dolby Vision etc and have them appear seperate to the genres also it would be great if I could add a hyperlink that takes me to the AppleTV entry to start watching it.

This app has made it much easier to track my 4000 disc collection and digital library.
Highly recommend.

Hello, thank you for your kind review. In the settings you can create custom providers and name them i.e "3D Dolby Vision" or whatever you need and then add it to your movies. Enjoy ;)

I was honestly losing hope trying to find an app to setup my movie collection into. Countless apps start with 15 to 50 dvds then start asking for card information or a monthly subscription. But this app has
Unlimited collection space with all kinds of sorting and customization options. Best app in the biz

An excellent program for keeping track of your dvd collection. Versatile in being able to input information manually plus ease of use scan capabilities.
