  • Love this app!

So far this is the best DVD catalog app that I found hands-down. I have hundreds of DVDs in my collection and this app is so efficient I was able to scan most of them in one evening. Other apps place limits on the number of DVDs you can upload but this one lets you load up to your hearts content. So far it hasn't asked me for a penny. My thanks to the developer!

Hello, glad to hear that you like the app. You are right, there is no limit on the number of movies you can add. Just add your whole collection and have fun!
  • Great app

I like this app, but there seems to be no way to interact with this from multiple devices. This would be a good addition… icloud?

    Developer Response

Hello, glad to hear, that you like the app. You are right, some kind of sync between devices would be a good addition. This is definitely on the to do list. In the meantime, you can transfer a collection to another device using the backup feature: Create a backup file and transfer (i.e. Air Drop) it to the other device and restore it there. Have fun!
  • I love this

    Finally somehow to keep track.
  • Fantastic app

I’ve been looking for an app to help track my AppleTV purchases and with the customisation it’s easy to add a movie and tag it as AppleTV.

The great thing is unlike other apps that have separate entries for bluray, dvd, 4K and digital this one starts by adding the movie and then you assign it to all the formats you have it in.

I would love to be able to select tags such as 3D Dolby Vision etc and have them appear seperate to the genres also it would be great if I could add a hyperlink that takes me to the AppleTV entry to start watching it.

This app has made it much easier to track my 4000 disc collection and digital library.
    Highly recommend.

Hello, thank you for your kind review. In the settings you can create custom providers and name them i.e "3D Dolby Vision" or whatever you need and then add it to your movies. Enjoy ;)
  • Best of Movie Collection apps

I was honestly losing hope trying to find an app to setup my movie collection into. Countless apps start with 15 to 50 dvds then start asking for card information or a monthly subscription. But this app has
Unlimited collection space with all kinds of sorting and customization options. Best app in the biz

  • Awesome app!

    You will love it!
  • Fantastic app for all movie lovers

I like to note all films I watch. This app fills all the boxes. And it’s free with no adds. And the developer listens to the demands.

Hello Gilles, thank you for the review. Yes, the latest feature (adding notes to each movie) was frequently requested. Glad to hear that you like it.
  • Great App

This is an amazing app I paid for a previous app and they updated it so I lost my whole collection. I’m just curious why the movies aren’t in alphabetical order though,That would definitely be a great update. However I love the app regardless and FREE is my favorite word lol 😂

    Developer Response

Hello, great to hear that you like the app. You can show your movies in alphabetical order: In the "Collection" screen choose the sort icon (the one with the two arrows) and sort by title A-Z or Z-A. Enjoy 😉
  • Impressive Movie Catalog

I’ve been looking for some time for an app that has a cataloging system the way I think it should be and this is it.

Every field is customizable which is fantastic. At first, I was thinking there should be a steel book category when scanned in, an option for it was loaned out, etc. But really, it’s already there. Just add the tags you want and assign them. Using this system, I was finally able to correctly input that a movie has a DVD, Blu, 4K, and/or digital in Movies Anywhere or iTunes or wherever and any combination of those. You can then sort on any field, which we all know is critical and sorely overlooked.

The artwork/covers can be customized and even added to which is great. This is especially needed when a steelbook is added. The covers are the right size also. With some other programs, they are like micro icons that you can’t see.

There’s even basic info about the movie. It doesn’t have a full review system like others, but honestly, I never cared about stuff like that. I mean, I already bought it, I don’t need a whole synopsis of it again. The layout is clean and nice. Sorting options are there, too. As you can see, this is a good thought out app.

    Things to work on:
    1. Better iPad support. I have an iPad Pro and the screen isn’t fully utilized.
    2. The saving options. While I like I can save it locally, what would be awesome is an option to save it to iCloud. That way, for example, the iPhone and can save it and the iPad can easily retrieve it from the iCloud. Then, the family can get to it easily as well. Maybe like an auto sync or restore if backup is newer automatically option so the other devices easily have an updated list once setup.
    3. An export to PDF and CSV option for those that don’t have the app or just to send to others.
    4. This is me being a bit selfish, but some other apps like this allow for adding in video games. With the way this app is setup, I can see that being a natural add in. I would love the ability to add in Xbox 360, One, X/S games in digital and disc format. Also, Switch games. And, I suppose for those that have a PS as well.

Thanks for a great app and it being free which is awesome and unheard of. Once I pass 50 movies (very soon), I’ll definitely be making a tip! Hopefully, that will encourage some work on my requests. Thanks again for making a catalog app with an easy, logical mindset.

Hello, thank you for the kind review. A suggestion for the steel books: You can also add a custom provider (check out the settings) and assign it - in that way you can use the tags only for content-related stuff, i.e. genres. Also, thank you for the ideas on how to further improve the app. Some are already on the to-do list. Keep on having fun with your movie collection!
