I give the dev 5-stars for the idea and 1-star for launching a half-baked app that’s not fully functional… and leaving it untouched for months. Element: Life Planner is better suited for TestFlight in its current state.
I look for opportunities to support indie devs, but oftentimes their apps are a hobby or a side hustle which results in limited ongoing development, and frequently abandonment of app.
While I get why this happens, the market advances so fast that bugs and lack of innovation/upgrades, makes these types of side projects a waste of time for users. I do like the approach this dev has taken with Element: Life Planner and would love to try it again once the app fully-baked.
