I love chess but this does a really good job at making it fast paced and interesting. Lots of cool menu options and choices for how you want to play the game, very customizable. It’s a wonderful chess app, I give it a 10/10 👍Owen.Rollins

I stink at Chess I just asking if you add more of a practice zone 2 You have for some good stuff you can put on guy 3 Maybe make CPU a little bit easier. Now the good stuff! This isn’t right or wrong, but *I* do not want to deal with balancing the value in coins, gems, and silver keyed when trying to play a chess game.
I’d also just like to play a chess game, but most of the options start you in the middle of a match. Reasonable to offer, but I can’t tell how to just play a normal match against decent ai. (Also, very little ai difficulty variation.)
TLDR: a lot of noise and confusion added to app for unclear reward.Show lessKesaGatame

Dear Kesa, we suggest you customize your AI practice matches, you can set ELO score (max is 2400 and min is 400), color (play as white/black), time, and also set help, these will provide a more tailored AI playing experience for you, along with puzzles that are already provided in other PLAY VS COMPUTER options. If you want to learn how to play chess, this game is great for that. If you're already pretty good and just want to play games, the only option for playing against computers is different puzzles that are easy, medium and hard. However, these aren't actual games. There just challenges to try to get checkmate. Otherwise, there are just practice bots, and don't give you any rewards. Please fix this.Show lessI don't have a name I can use

Dear player, we suggest playing in either our PLAY ONLINE mode and testing your skills here with real-time players or playing practice matches with friends, you can also customize your AI PRACTICE MATCH and set the ELO, color, and time, along with help options, this should be a fun trial for you and we will pass on your "introduce rewards in practice matches" to our dev team for future updates. Well thought out. I am perfectly happy with my current chess app but this is a freak idea and approach to the game. I’ve been enjoying this version very much. It’s comparing ketchup to mustard but both are very very good.LDAMAN123

Great mechanics with the presentation. Hate that everything is timed even the online matches no ability to set up untimed matches. Would like to turn off move hints on the puzzle features to learn. Would rather learn from puzzle towers. Could take or leave the costumes and pets. The chess tower lessons are fantastic, but you can’t practice them again once you have completed a tower. No new lessons spawn in there. The computer opponent challenges are great as well wish crystals were not required to get new opponents to spawn faster. Dear player, thank you for reaching out! If you want to simply practice chess with no time limitation we offer an opportunity like that without customized AI practice matches. You can go to PLAY VS COMPUTER and scroll down to PRACTICE MATCH and set ELO score difficulty, color, time, and whether you would like help or not. It's a great way to practice your skills in a mode not limited by time. As for academy towers, we have created different options for constant progression, it is true that once you complete a tower new puzzles are not generated there, but you can move on to the net tower where new puzzles await. A few times I’ve been playing a game against the computer and had to stop for some reason. If I use my iPhone for something else in the meantime, like taking a video, and go back to the chess app the animated Arcade screen does its thing and the game I was playing is gone. It goes to the Home Screen of the app and there seems to be no way to get back to the game I was playing. Particularly annoying when the game is going well. Also, if you’ve begun a game and neither side has moved and you change your mind to play a different set of options you lose the game.Show lessChemBob

Dear player, thank you for sharing your experience! We understand how frustrating it must be to lose your progress in the middle of a game, especially when it’s going well. It sounds like the app may not be saving your game state when you switch to other apps or return to the Home Screen. We're working on improving the auto-save feature and have already made progress in the latest version of the app, so that if you have to leave the app for any reason, you can seamlessly return to your game without losing progress, this is of course only for a specific amount of time and only for PLAY VS. COMPUTER, as you cannot abandon online games. Regarding the second issue, if you begin a game but decide to change your options before any moves are made, we agree that shouldn't count as a loss. We’ll look into this and work on a fix to improve the experience. If you have any other details that might help us investigate these issues further, feel free to share at support@chess-universe.net. EDIT 3 star: Taking off a star because servers time out and you lose a game. Removing another star because i can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidentally moved a piece to the wrong square. It’s a touch screen so just accidentally tapping the screen in the wrong place during play can cost you a game. There should be an option for move confirmation.
