Has potential
Been using this as a replacement for Infuse in conjunction with my Plex server. It works great on my iPhone and MacBook, however when playing 4K videos on my Apple TV 4K (Gen 1) the video always stutters even when Plex is showing that the video is not being transcoded. Infuse has no problems playing the same videos on the same ATV - not really sure what the problem is but makes it difficult to move away from Infuse.

Powerful player
Infuse support for jellyfin has gotten so bad that I had to find something else. VidHub is awesome for that, very fast and snappy interacting with the media server, and I love how feature rich the player is - some stuff like the hold to speed up is genuinely progress and brilliant. The most glaring missing feature is picture in picture on iPad, but you can still play videos in the background audio only. Personally I’d like the option to default to my media server since I only use that and no SMB shares, would save a few clicks on startup. Will definitely do 5 stars if PiP is added. And please don’t remove any of the nerdy features in the player like bitrate and screenshot button to be more “user friendly”, it’s so awesome how it is and plenty intuitive.

Add a new default to open the specified page. For example, I only need the emby function, and I can set the default to the emby home page.

This app is INSANE
Was looking for a new Plex-compatible player since Infuse’s recent downgrade (7.7 update)…was not expecting much from a free app, but it's the best player I’ve ever seen!
Gesture control, live stats, exact file/folder info, expansive subtitle options, and an overlay to adjust hue/saturation/contrast etc whilst watching your media play behind it...Never thought I’d see anything beat VLC in image control.
If a subscription/paid option comes out, I’m sold - this is the kind of player I want to see more of.

Great App with Speedy Metadata Scraping
This app excels at rapid metadata extraction, outperforming Infuse and other apps I have previously used in terms of speed. However, it lacks one crucial feature that I highly value: the ability to read .nfo files located within a movie's folder. If this could be addressed, it would significantly enhance the app's functionality for users like myself.

PiP (Picture-in-Picture) option no longer available in latest update?
This is the best iOS media app I’ve found for connecting to Plex/Jellyfin media servers. However, the latest update no longer gives the option to play video in PiP on iPhone 11 (iOS 17.4)
Did I screw up a setting on my iPhone? Or was this a change by the developer?

Almost perfect
Everything was working great on appleTV until the latest update. While the first episode you play plays normally off a jellyfin server, the next episode when playing automatically is sound only (image is just a black screen), forcing you to exit the current playback and selecting the episode manually.
