  • What a waste of time.

    Two major complaints:
    1. It’s set up for making sermons on a particular schedule. You can’t pick one passage in particular.
    2. IT DOESN’T WORK! I’ve left it for over an hour, and it never progressed past the “wait a few minutes” message. Reset and retried many times. Nothing.

If you could pick a passage and get a sermon, it would be 5 starts.
If you could only pick a range, it would be 3 stars.
It just plain doesn’t work, so 1 star.

  • Good idea, still in it’s infancy

I, myself am a developer using AI to give the Christian Bible tools. I applaud your effort, my friend. But I would like for the generated scripture to include metaphors and stories, which shouldn’t be too hard to ask of ChatGPT in your API call. Also, asking the user how long they want to speak for, or what personality to give it, could be helpful as well. Those shouldn’t be too hard to work into the program. Though it may cost you more money to increase your ChatGPt token limit. Hopefully the next generation of the app could contain these things.

Oh and another note: I understand the Christian’s resistance to AI writing sermons. Perhaps you can write a disclaimer that says, the ideas generated can be used as a brainstorm or rough draft for creating a great sermon. Best of luck.

  • Not the way sermons are supposed to be made.

And the app doesn’t work…praise God!
