  • Brawl stars 2.0 but worse

This had me so hyped that a mix of multiple Supercell games were merging to make a new ultimate game. But this feels like a more boring and slow paced version of gem rush in brawl stars, with the only difference being you get multiple characters. You can’t manually attack (brawl stars you can) the matchmaking is random (brawl stars has trophy MM depending on how much you played as a character + wins / loss) it has pay-to-win aspects (brawl stars didnt due to the matchmaking). the game is entirely based on running around and hoping you have good RNG and hoping the other squads (many seem to be AI controlled) don’t have that. There is no social system or clans like the other games, and it is super repetitive playing the same thing over and over. I played for about an hour and wished I would have downloaded brawl stars again in that time. I had extremely high expectations for this company and game, but this is a major letdown. Save your time and download brawlstars if you want a better version of this game.

  • Game is good but needs a few tweaks to be great

Here comes Supercell with another cash grab right. All jokes aside the game has fun gameplay but feels somewhat luck dependent. You either get a strong start and go for 1st or you get unlucky and just hope to keep your streak alive. Not fun to loose when you feel hopeless against your opponent. Another thing, the whole limited plays thing has been in the mobile gaming industry for awhile and its just not fun. If I wanna play a bunch of games I should be able to get rewards from them. Lastly, I don’t know why we aren’t able to customize our teams of characters we want to bring with us. Adding something like a deck from clash royal would add much more replay-ability to the game and also take away some of the rng aspect of getting characters that don’t suit your build that run. Those are my main points don’t hate the game but it’s not above an average mobile game rn. Also, this is to be expected with supercell, I was disappointed by the amount of instant micro transactions that I found in the beginning of the game. I get they need to make money but it just feels like the game was made in a way to directly support them making money and not just making the game.

  • Great game ruined by emphasis on Pay to win mechanics

This is my issue: mid game you can assign character via chests for your squad using coins, this has an RNG element (Pool of characters - Common, rare, epic etc) though you can use in game items to somewhat reduce RNG and pick preferred characters to fit the match/bonuses. Granted you can get these items for free it’s nevertheless pretty abysmal as once you use these items they’re gone (so this was obviously done with the intent to maximise profits but I just feel it provides an unfair advantage). The other pay to win aspects aren’t really that bad but I think this needs addressing, this isn’t your bog standard higher level character advantage it’s one which is fundamental to the core game. Other than that, fun game, can’t wait to see how high the skill ceiling goes.

  • First impressions

    Addictive game so far!

First week review - as expected a lot of improvements can be made within the game mechanics. For example the stacked running shoes when your chasing your opponent round the whole map just for someone to steal your kill. Implementing a fairer system to players who do the work to a monster or player should get the rewards.

The game itself is very fun, the monsters are crazy to fight with different designs and squads are fun to make with a variety of characters to choose from. In the foreseeable future i see a lot of potential to balance out the game and more than just solo play mode. Very excited to see what's next!

  • Pay to Win?

This is the newest supercell installment and while it has great visuals and graphics and is a fun hodgepodge of all their past games it really leaves a lot to be desired. The game promotes PvP but often the best way to win matches is to entirely avoid your opponents because when you attack it makes you weaker and an easy target for another enemy. Gameplay is fun but at the end there is too much on the screen to know what is happening and it’s hard to tell if you are having any impact at all. The only way for your characters to attack is to stand still which just makes you a sitting duck. It’s a fun but I think the PvP mechanics need some work.

Then there is the fact that you can get these keys to open chests in matches to get an advantage against other players. And these keys you can buy for real life money. There are also super units that you can buy to get an advantage in the game. All in all this just makes it pay to win in a real unfriendly way to free to play players. I think if there are special times that can be used to gain an advantage mid battle they need to not be accessed with real money. I like the concept of the game but it really feels like it should have been developed more before releasing.

  • Very addicting

When this game came out yesterday, I played it, and it is SO fun. I grinded it for around eight hours nonstop because of how good it is. You unlock new worlds as you level up, which gives you new characters to unlock, such as old brawl stars characters, and clash Royale characters. You also get coins as you level up, which you can use to get character cards, which you use to upgrade them, or use to buy chest passes, which are basically just star drops, in brawl stars. I just ask of one thing for the developers to add in a future update: Being able to spectate others in your party that are already in battle. Sometimes I join the party and then everyone in it is already battling, leaving me for nothing to do. If you guys could do that, I would be so grateful, and I’m sure a lot of other people would be too. 5 Stars definitely!

  • This went global instead of clash mini?

I am so baffled that this game went global instead of clash mini. This game is extremely bland. Clash mini was a strategic game of chess with supercell characters, In coc u build up a base and attack others, in cr u strategically 1v1 others with a diverse set of cards, and then now… here in this boring game, everyone is running around grabbing as many gems as they could like it’s Black Friday. That’s literally all you do! Just run around, grab the most gems, and you win! I am so disappointed. Not only in supercells decision to make this game go global instead of clash mini… but also due fact that this game doesn’t match the same status quo as the other supercell games. The objective of this game sounds like it was made by kindergarteners playing recess, This game feels like another company decided to make a knockoff supercell game. Bring clash mini back, not just in cr, but in all it’s entirety. Killing clash mini was the worst business mistake you guys have ever made. I would even argue to say I believe clash mini would’ve been big in e sports.

  • Unbalanced reward system

Greetings, the game is really entertaining it’s far beyond perfect compared to the brawl stars for it keeps you playing each time you finish a match, but one thing that I realized is that the reward system isn’t the way it should be because what you’re getting from battle pass makes it a pay to win game, battle pass should be a cosmetic thing like skins or whatnot, titles like Clash Royale are more balanced in that term where you get everything you need to compete with other players that have Royale pass makes buying a pass something optional not mandatory.

P.S: In some countries like IR Iran people can’t access the game without VPNs because of sanctions that have been executed after Finland joined NATO, thus a large number of players are suffering because of that, so i want you supercell to make a move for Games and Gamers have nothing to do with politics. (It hurts the people not the government)

  • Awesome addition to the brawl stars saga

It’s a really fun game that overall captures the feeling of brawl stars but in a whole new different way. I’m surprised no one has put a review on the game. However, I find this game pretty enjoyable. However I was a bit thrown off by the controls at first as it really never told me that I had to not click to attack, which I am really use to be now with brawl stars. Then after I tried to click it told me. It would be better if they told you the controls before hand, but I get the idea of learning the game as you move forward. I love the merging of the characters or evolving in other words. This is a great idea as it takes the characters you had already gotten from the chest reward and merged them or evolved them. Awesome idea! Thanks for this awesome addition!

  • Disappointed in Supercell

As a young adult who has played Clash of Clans since I was a literal kid with all my friends, Boom Beach for a couple of years, as well as Brawl Stars and Clash Royale. This game just doesn't hit the same at all. Supercell to me has had the mobile game genre in its hands for as long as I can remember and it’s safe to say they’ve had so much success because of their unique ideas for games and how they have made super cool universes with each of their titles. This game is just seemingly built off of the Brawl Stars engine while using all their assets all at once. I love Supercell but I genuinely do not know how this game got greenlit and launched. I loved Rush Wars and used a different country Apple ID to play that in its beta and I might not ever understand how this game was launched with confidence and Rush Wars was sadly killed. I don’t see this game doing well and I hope it is a learning experience for Supercell to remind them that they just need to do what they’ve always done best…Take your time. Come up with something unique and different. And build off that. Don’t use assets you already have and always try to create something new. Love ya Supercell🤙🏼
