  • Game stuck on loading screen

Every single time i start a match on mobile data as opposed to wifi it comes up with an infinite loading screen with the little purple swirl in the bottom right corner! it doesnt load me into the game... at all... no matter how long i wait! i then close the game try to reopen and it gets stuck on the initial opening loading screen. again i close it reopen it anytime from 1-5 minutes im no greeted with a poor excuse of a chest and being told my streak is gone. ive been in touch with the in game support team and ive followed all the steps to try and resolve this issue yet nothing has been done nor has anything been acknowledged by supercell even though multiple people have spoke about this issue. ive spent money on this game nothing over £5 but it still feels like a waste of money when i can only play the game with wifi, do better supercell its 2024 not 2008.

  • SUPER CELL DOES IT AGAIN

As a long time fan of Clash Royal and then Brawl Stars, I’ve waited a very long time for Super Cell to finally make a new game. While I don’t think Squad Busters is quite as good as those two masterpieces, it’s still very early in the release, and historically these devs devote a lot of support into their games, refining them to get better and better. More importantly, the game is a ton of fun right out of the gate. It has that “just one more game” addiction that the previous two had. And just like those previous games, the monetization here is on point. Most free to play games are riddled with ads and/or ridiculous pay to win. Super Cell does neither of those, instead incentivizing you to spend some money because you want to. My only complaint is that there is no clan system in place. At least not yet. All their previous games feature one to great effect. I recommend this game highly. You got nothing to lose. Just be aware that the first early stages are rather simple, but the game opens up as you unlock stages and characters.

  • Disappointingly easy mechanics and pay to win

This game can be fun and allows for rewarding progression but I just don’t think it will last. You can talk about the fact that game is pay to win or there should be a clan system in place or a million other ideas to improve the game but it wont’t take away from the fact that this games core mechanics are far to simple. This lack of skill and RNG based gameplay means that it could never be taken to any sort of pro level meaning it won’t be able to grow like other games like CR or brawl stars

I believe unless major improvements are made this game will go down as another supercell dud. If you enjoy low skill and “low stress” game then go for it just be warned that it will most likely be taken off servers by the end of the year.

  • Pay to Progress

I love this game but the fine details with longevity and character upgrades are trash in my opinion. To add on what I said, I mean it is fun to pick up and play but there is no grind because eventually you’ll run out of gold to buy chest tickets with unless you spend real money or wait 3 hours per play. The fact that trophy system is reliant of character upgrades isn’t the devs fault that some greedy CEO’s. Virtually if this game isn’t supposed to be a cash grab it’s doing a horrible job being anything more. Yet I do love it and know there’s potential in it but that’s why im criticising so much because I really want this game to stay kicking cause I really do love it but if it doesn’t change it’s monetising design in the next few months the game will be off the radar cause you can’t stay playing without spending and you can’t get on the leaderboard without spending money because the system is built around $$$

  • Squad Busters

As an avid supercell game enjoyer, squad busters is something different. I’ve played clash of clans and clash Royale for a long time now, having played clash mini and clash quest when they first came out as new supercell games but could never get into them, with squad busters it’s something new and refreshing and I really enjoy it, a chill game to play and enjoy

  • Entertaining- needs updating

I’m loving Squad Busters, I find it exciting and entertaining and frustrating enough that I keep playing it. I would love to have the choice to have friends immune to you in a party.
It would also be nice to have different characters to select if you use a dice, instead of using the dice and having the same selection.
My reason for the 3 star review is the game is constantly lagging. You are given 3 chest tickets before having to buy more and the game freezes, lags or completely shuts down and it still uses your chest tickets and you lose your winning streak. Pretty annoying and needs an update.

Worth playing for those considering it, just need a lot of patience.

  • Fun game but coop is very unfair

Overall I enjoy the game a lot but there are a couple issues. I do not think that groups and singles should be able to play together. It’s not very fun to be playing by myself and be constantly ganged up on by players who are obviously playing together. It’s pretty much impossible to win against a group of people because they can just trap you between them and even if you have a bigger squad you get wrecked because it’s two or three against one. The people playing in groups don’t care about beating each other because they keep their streak and get the extra taps for chests by being in the top 5. Groups should be playing with other groups and singles should play with singles. If the game stays the same in regards to coop I don’t see myself continuing to play in the future. Other issues are minor. I don’t like that megas are single use. This makes the game feel very pay to play. I do not mind spending some money on the game because I do enjoy it and want to support a game I enjoy. However it is a bit excessive currently how much money you have to spend to stay competitive.

  • Quick to become stale

After 2 weeks of very actively playing, I have come to the conclusion that the game is already insanely stale, and I couldn’t imagine an update that could save it… the aim of the game is to open chests until you can stop and attack others, but people tend to avoid conflict since the benefits almost in every circumstance are outweighed by the negatives of even a positive outcome. So instead, it’s more of a PvE game, where you stop and attack the same CPU enemies, collect coins, more chests, attack more CPU enemies, collect gems, and hopefully you will have enough to reach 5th place within 3 mins so you don’t lose your win streak. Rinse and repeat. Sometimes the scenarios are slightly different but not enough to give any interest. Upgrading your squad is useless also, the upgrades are mundane like very slight damage increases, or with Greg, slightly more coin per tree you cut down… really wanted to enjoy this game but it’s a let down by supercell trying to milk the success of their squad busters game, which I also did not enjoy…
