  • Good but crashes

Gameplay, characters and melding of different supercell worlds is great. Unfortunately game crashes intermittently at the loading page causing you to lose your win streak which is the most frustrating thing ever! The crashing seems to continue even if you uninstall and reinstall the game. Please fix this!

  • Disappointing new game that is in need of changes desperately

Initially, I believed it was great and fun to play with games with friends as the rewards were cool, characters had tributes to brawl stars, clash royale, and clash of clans, and leveling up while also progressing your squad journey was easy. Now that two weeks have passed and I just got to Beach World, the difficulty has increased tenfold and the squad journey feels impossible to even get to level 90. The games just feel monotonous and dull and competition feels like it’s harder because I am free to play and around this progress in the game it seems my character units are significantly weaker than those that have paid money to get to the beach world and unlock the characters. The only “new thing” are the maps and some modes but with how poor the chances of unlocking new units I don’t have, the game is just uninspiring. Furthermore, getting a unit to 4 stars is just a never-ending grind, I feel like a hamster on a wheel because of how small the rewards are even after getting up to a 54 win streak. There is not really a benefit after you get above 5 wins in a row. It’s ironic how even getting 100 wins in a row doesn’t result in better rewards, it’s only pathetic. I hope Supercell wakes up and decides to make some changes or this game is going to die very quickly.

  • Buggy

To start I want to say I love the actual game play, it’s fun, strategic and has a great feel to it! Overall the game would be perfect, besides two major bug. Now I don’t know if it’s because I have an older phone or not but whenever a game ends and I click the open chest button it never loads, the screen turns black forever. The only way to by pass it, is to restart the app and loading back in before finally getting the chest, not terrible but still pretty annoying especially because it happens EVERY time. Secondly, I’ve found that the game take a lot of power to run often causing my phone to get super hot, this later leads to crashes mid-game causing me to lose. This often makes me rage quit and stop playing for a few days! I also want to say that this has never happened and doesn’t happen when I play other games, including other supercell games, so I would believe it has something to do with the game. Again I love the game play and hope that I can play it without these bugs happening so often!

  • Not great not bad

Heres a list of thing this game requires so much

    1. The game is battery hungry, add battery saver options features the technology the players have not that high tech.

2 Add the ability to gain coins from chest before getting characters or coin collected in match added to th in game currency.

    3. Add the ability to increase rate of getting new character, by 10% or more classic 7% or more super 5% or more.

4 make better mode and team modes, some modes feel like a clone.

    5. Chest ticket should be 5 or 10 and increase its production rate.

    6. Make the game mix of skill and strategy based besides being luck based when getting characters from chest..

    7. Make it more F2P friendly

    8. Add spells symbol icon on players close to their gem count to see if they have the spell or not.

    9. Add clan features with bonus loot and clan battle.

    10. Shop needs to have better layout.

    11. Add unique Character skin and make it easier to get for F2P (not grindy but an achievement required and do NOT make it limited time only)

    12. Getting new Spell is too grindy for F2P that I have to spam the spell to speed up the progress.

    13. Make an event that is limited time or permanent besides grinding for piñatas that gives collecting no piñatas points or less in a match.

    Overall
Game is fun, decent, can be repetitive at time but it needs to be unique, innovative and needs strategy less grindy and needs better achievement.

  • Game is okay but MASSIVE pay to play

The concept of this game isn’t really new, it’s been around with games like brawl stars, but I think there is potential. Supercell probably spent a lot of money on this game and advertisement so I’m not shocked they made this game an absolute pay to play. The card leveling system is a joke. You have to wait something like 2 hours just to get 1 chest for a game just for this chest to give you 2 characters. Not only that, but you wait this long and then get the worst RNG and get smoked. Next, the gold system is by far the worst mechanic in a Supercell game. Once you finish the gem pass, regardless if you bought the paid portion, and the squad league journey, it is a scam. Even during the grind of the gem pass it is a scam. There is no legit way to earn gold, you have to purchase it. This brings me back to the comment about how they spent a lot of money to develop and advertise this game, I don’t expect them to fix this very soon as they try to recoup what they spent. Unfortunately it might kill the game but hey at least they’ll make an extra dollar. I could go into a bunch of other stuff like how the game lags all over the place and you can tell only half the time you are winning and how you have to stop to fight, but there’s plenty of reviews that cover this garbage already.

  • Good, fun, Pay 2 win

Generally concept of the game is nice. I pre-registered for the game and I spend quite few hours partying it.

At the beginning there is a chance that you may even finish the game on 1st place. After it’s getting even hard not to say impossible to finish it in top 5.

You need to finish in top 5 if you want to continue your Strike for extra bonus rolls on the chest for better price. Those chests spawn every 3h, so you can play 15 min then come back after 3h for 1 game(5min) or after 9 to play for 15 minutes. It happened to me like 3-4 times that after the game I didn’t even receive the chest for some reason.

On top Pay2win here is massive. If you have money to thrown on this game you will be fine and easily finishing in top 3 as free account you will be fighting to survive as Pay players due to ability of opening cheats for free and reroling for better prices they will be killing you very easily.

It’s ok to grind to be stronger but Pay players are just overpowered. They can level up faster, level up characters very fast compare to free accounts, you need to grind a lot to get anywhere and the only way for you to progress is chests that spawn every 3h.

It’s ok, I like the game itself and I would play it but as free account I can’t be constantly fighting for survive only. Forget about top5 to keep your strike on. Later you may not even get 2-3 games to finish in top 5.

  • Cool concept, the fun lasts

The game itself is not too bad. I like how you move with the characters, get chests from the money you earn from killing the enemies on the ground and keep getting more characters and fight people and get gems to win. I also like the 4 star evolution, it is really grindy which is my style. It takes ages to get, which is nice, it makes the game not end fast. Now the part I don’t like is that the gameplay is fun for like a few days to about a week but then it just gets boring and a bit repetitive from just walking around with the characters and killing people. I want more from the game. I give it a 3 star review as I cannot really give any advice or recommend any updates or things to make the game better, however it just gets boring pretty quickly for me. I would say make more modes. However, it is a fairly new game, so I think that in the future they can come up with some amazing updates and fix the 3.9 star review that they have in total right now. There’s a lot of potential, don’t waste it.

  • This game is a scam.

Gathers data on your tendencies and then always gives you bad options when you have a high win streak. Not a fan of the auto attack, there is no skill, find someone and stand there. So boring. They want you to farm stuff, but you can’t when people are attacking you 10-20 seconds into the match because they got lucky on their first pull. Always have to waste coins keeping the streak going because it always cheats, gives you terrible rolls and constantly puts you in no-win situations. Use reroll tokens and literally get the same three terrible options you just didn’t want. Or the other ones that you never pick that are weak and no one else wants either. Many games where everyone else is always running around never running out of turbo but you are slow and can’t build a good squad because of the cheating system and can never get away from anyone. Games where not even a minute in and you just get your first fusion, and then someone already with 3 somehow rolls in and destroys you. I have a feeling that people are already cheating with the way some of these matches unfold. It’s a cool concept, but poorly executed and a just another money grab. You will have to spend hundreds if you want to get anywhere in this game. It has an even lower 3.0 rating on Google Play, so the verdict is in: this game stinks.

  • Supercells’ worst game yet?

Firstly the graphics are beautiful and taking characters from across the other different supercell games and putting them together is a nice touch… however the main issues with the game is that it very much feels like a walking simulator game. The interactions and fights within the gameplay feel very RNG and there is very little strategy involved… run around for a minute and a half collecting coins from killing NPC’s, build your squad and then take on the other squads within the lobby, now cross your fingers and hope that yours wins. In summary the game has potential but is severely lacking in replay-ability and growth and development as a player. It is not a game I would continue to play in its current state and I would only really recommend this to overstimulated seven year olds who don’t care that the game is menial and mindless.

  • Bad start

I love clash of clans and have played for years, I played Clash Royal and even played Everdale, so when Supercell come out with a game I’m pretty excited, it’s easy to FTP these games but I like to treat myself sometimes.

I bought the season pass for £4.99, turns out that’s a release pass to get you to the actual season pass which is £9.99, I feel pretty ripped off, being an idiot I bought this anyway.

Despite this I’m now out of gold, if I play and lose my streak the game mechanics mean I either buy gold or lose the streak which means I lose all the work I put in and rewards go down. Upgrading troops: the mechanics again are totally off, it doesn’t feel like your getting anywhere. Also there doesn’t appear to be any skill or strategy and the voice over is really annoying.

I know there are teething troubles on release of these types of games and expect changes as they develop but with Supercell they can just as easily pull a game.

I hate criticism of companies trying to make a profit and have no issues with that, but this literally feels and looks like a fruit-machine in a pub designed to rake in cash. I evidence this with the sneaky “season pass” which isn’t the real season pass, the insane mechanics which mean if you don’t have gold you lose your streak and just the general design. I’m not sure I’m a fan of Supercell anymore.
