Multiple charges! Horrible customer service!
So I started using this app for college and work.. it has a lot of cool features and I enjoyed the app a lot, so I upgrade to pro to get the full version (paid annually). I use it almost daily. About 2 months after upgrading to pro, the features were locked again and I was told I needed to upgrade to pro. I thought maybe my credit card kicked back the charge or there was some other error, so I paid the annual fee again. After checking my credit card statements, I seen the charge wasn’t kicked back and I was indeed charged twice. I emailed support and never got a response. Then, about a week after that, once again, I logged in and now it’s telling me I need to upgrade again. I’ve sent multiple emails to support along with screenshots of the receipts and credit card statements. They refuse to respond or even acknowledge me. I will absolutely not be paying for this app a third time when there are multiple other apps that do the same thing. Problems but great
I love the app. Don’t get me wrong. The ability to have so many different AI for different things is amazing, especially being able to generate images and create art pieces and artwork however, I keep running to issues with the sync of devices I was thinking it was my Internet because it keeps saying that but for whatever reason every single other app on my phone works just fine but whenever I try to see any of the chats that I’ve had, they simply don’t show up and it’s also causing my iPhone XR to crash for some reason despite me having this problem before i’m not sure if the AI is self hosted or something it shouldn’t be but I keep having it lagged and just overall slow. Meanwhile, every other app on my phone is working just fine. I give it three out of five stars. I pray that they fix this issue.Show lessFrappeoverandover
No support and pricing varies
I have written 5 emails requesting support from this developer. I even contacted Apple support who gave me the instructions on how to contact the developer which led me to their website with no way to contact other than what I had already tried. I have paid for this app twice! Once through paddle for three months at the same price Apple offers for a yearly subscription. Once I realized that, I tried to cancel auto renewal with paddle but they cancelled my subscription completely with two months remaining. They said they couldn’t restore the subscription and deferred to Nova. Nova responded through paddle with instructions on how to cancel my subscription that had already been cancelled. I replied to their email twice and wrote three other emails independently. I didn’t hear back after that, so I bit the bullet and purchased a year on Apples App Store. The web version did not recognize my purchase, therefore it only worked on my phone. I could not download the app on my computer because it doesn’t have an M1 chip. The web version should kick in but it showed a free version and kept asking me to upgrade to the paid version. When this app worked it was great but the reason I’m giving one star is because no one, not even a bot has responded to my multiple emails with screenshots. Hello, I have noticed that the latest version of Nova's iOS mobile app introduces features like GPT-4o, llama 3, and gemini, which is fantastic! However, on the Windows platform, there are only older models such as GPT, GPT-4, and paLM 2. I believe Nova's GPT-4o on iOS is really powerful. Is it possible to launch GPT-4o on the Windows platform? That's my first question.
My second question is regarding logging into Nova's iOS mobile app, where currently I can only log in using iOS or Google accounts but not with an email address. Is there a way to address this issue? When I try to log in using my email, I receive a link in my inbox that doesn't work on my mobile but only on a computer. I love this app!
I struggle with a lot of BPD and many other issues. I got this app just to see at first. I used it to look up new cool tattoo designs! Then I found out it can do more than create images! You can ask a bunch of questions about anything and it gives you very good answers. Like for example I struggle with BPD and don’t understand much about it or know how to cope with it. You can type “How to cope with BPD” on your NOVA app and it’ll give you the best description of the symptoms, the mood change, and more information about coping with it. Not only that you can ask any questions you want answered and it’ll give you a very specific answer! I love it for my mental health for stuff I don’t know or understand or for studying! I was very suspicious about it first but I can say now that I love it and that the creator did an amazing job!Show lessMarijane;)
Amazing App
I don’t usually write reviews for apps but this one deserves it! I have an older IPHONE and when I went to download ChatGPT it said I had to have the 16.0 or higher software update. Well I tried everyday I could and the best I could get was 15.8 or .9 and so I was bummed that I couldn’t get CHatGPT. I download numerous AI apps but they were either ridiculously expensive or they weren’t what I was wanting. Until I found NOVA which to my surprise is actually part of ChatGPT so win win on both ends!!! Every time I have asked for a random answer or to write me either a few sentences all the way to 20+ pages NOVA has not disappointed. Not worth it
I am shocked at all the positive reviews for this app. It’s features are very basic, and anything you can do in this app you can do for free with other alternatives. This app advertises that it uses the ChatGPT v4 model. It does not. It uses the v3.5 model (don’t believe me? Just ask the chatbot what AI model it uses, any chatbot will tell you accurately which model it operates with). You’re much better off just using the ChatGPT mobile app for free which also uses the v3.5 model. For image generation, this app is extremely lackluster. It only generates two poor quality images per prompt, which is below the standard four images per prompt set by Midjourney and DALLE. Want an accurate image generated based off your prompt? That’s not what you’ll experience with this app. It generates two prompts based off the prompt you give it, and generates two images based off the prompts it creates. For example, if I give the prompt “Super Mario playing slots at a casino”, it won’t generate an image for that prompt. It will create a prompt using the prompt I gave, such as “Super Mario playing roulette with Wario at a casino”. That is not the image that I asked for. You’re way better off using DALLE for free, or getting a Midjourney subscription. I highly recommend NOT downloading and subscribing to this app.Show lessmeiz3n

So far everything is working great with this product and I have access to the newest version of chat GPT (chat GPT 4) as well as Google Bard. But description gives you impression that the one purchase includes iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and desktop functionality. I could be wrong but to my understanding the web version on the desktop is an additional purchase however you can run the application intended for the phone and iPad on your desktop. I've only had the product for one day so I'm going to experiment and preop do a follow up review but so far so good. They're also seem to be various prices Subscriptions I am currently paying $40 a year which is a incredible price assuming the product continues to perform as described.Show lessmels0991
