A lot of the flowers used in the arrangements are toxic to dogs and cats. I wish there was a filter to designate safe for pet homes. What happens is 1800Flowers post to a bunch of florists who are participates in their network. Whether this person has that image you selected is basically luck. If they don’t have those flowers they won’t give you a discount, they won’t even cancel the order. They’ll make a bouquet of flowers you didn’t even want. And sometimes the flowers can be absolutely awful. Will 1800Flowers refund you if you’re disappointed? Absolutely not. They’ll fight tooth and nail for that 100$ rather than establish a future business relationship with you. They’ll die on that hill for 100-200$ rather than focus on maybe having 300-400 in the next year from you. It’s not a scam, but it is lazy penny pinching business.
