## What is 1898?

1898-NDE PRO

Industrial Radiography Assistant and Handbook

In light of my years of field experience and knowledge, I developed this assistant to be a practical and reliable guide for all my colleagues working in the field. Designed specifically for NDE and industrial radiography professionals, this application streamlines complex technical calculations right from your pocket.
Key Features and Core Modules:Exposure Time: Perform fast and precise exposure time calculations under changing field conditions to ensure optimal film quality.

Geometric Unsharpness: Calculate source to film distance and evaluate ASME Ug standards effortlessly to maintain strict inspection compliance.
Exposure Correction: Execute density and exposure corrections with high precision to account for varying material parameters.

Decay Calculator: Track and calculate radioactive source decay accurately for precise scheduling and safety management.

Safe Area and Dose Rate: Determine radiation area limits and establish secure boundaries to maintain absolute workplace safety.

Shielding HVT: Compute half value layer and dose reduction parameters effectively for comprehensive radiation protection.

IQI Selection ISO and ASTM: Instantly find the correct wire IQI using built in ISO Class A B and ASTM E747 guidelines to match regulatory inspection standards.
