It does this over and over again and has done so for several days. Other streams appear ok. ### 5/5 — Great Variety and Song Selection *2023-09-19* I learned about 1.FM through TuneIn and never thought to see if they had an app, but they do. You don’t have to pay any monthly fee, like TuneIn, and these stations never seem to recycle playlists. I listen a lot and it takes a days before I hear a repeated song. The app is clean, not cluttered, and easy to use. 1.FM is a gem for radio lovers. ### 2/5 — Fails after a few days use *2023-03-13, version 2.03* Interesting concept & wide range of genres, expanding all the time. Worked fine on previous i phone, but now ceases up shortly after download to new phone. Re-installing has not worked. So, as per the laws of fair play, I will put things right in this review. All is good. Great service, I listen primarily to 1.fm Absolute Trance via headphones during intense workout sessions & occasionally throughout the day via an iPad or Apple CarPlay. Paying the low monthly subscription for a premium service without ads, was a no-brainer. Had some issues but all worked out in the end. *2019-04-08, version 2.016* I’ve been listening to 1.fm for quite a long time for free, but the ads just ruined the experience for me. Looked into premium membership and discovered it’s super cheap! Signed up. Had an issue signing in. I emailed them but didn’t hear back. Apparently they contacted me straight away, and again when I emailed again, but I didn’t get either for some reason. Still working out the kinks I guess. I suggest that if you have any issues message them through Facebook. That’s how I was finally able to figure out what the problem was. They responded fairly quickly and were happy to help. Easy fix and now I am able to enjoy some of the best music I’ve ever heard! They introduced me to some of my favorite musicians and I am am very grateful for that! Favorite stations are 1. Gorilla fm (my favorite), 2. Ibiza chill tropical, and 3. Chill out lounge radio. It doesn’t show any stations. I’ve tried all 1.FM s suggestions but nothing works since latest system updates. ### 1/5 — App not loading on iPad *2025-11-02, version 2.03* Over the last 2 days, the app will display the 1.fm header and the section titles but will not load the channel lists. This only happens on iPad. I asked a friend to try on his newer iPad and the same thing happens. Initially, everything worked well for a few weeks until the app prompted me to upgrade to their premium version. I had to decide between Spotify and 1.fm. Eventually, 1.fm restricted my Chord system's internet access, preventing it from going online. My Hifi now couldn’t get online. ### 1/5 — Crash *2025-05-01* It was working great previously. Chilout Lounge, the only 1.FM station that I listen to, is all about mood. It's ambient music. Audio ads break the mood. Why not publish a paying version of the app with no ads? Update: Vehicle what? So many bops to put on when I don’t feel like curating my own queue! The app is clean, straightforward, and doesn’t have unnecessary frills. Very aesthetically pleasing interface. The app allows you to easily browse a variety of genres, eras, and moods in seconds. In a time of decision fatigue and over produced playlists, I appreciate curated radio more than ever and 1.FM is the standard. The variety of stations, the quality, VERY FEW interruptions compared to other streaming services that I’ve tried (and given up on). However, I have one request (and I’m using a review to do it, because I could find no way of contacting you, and your Help page isn’t working) - on your Spa channel, is there any way of making your station identification/commercials about half the volume they currently are? I use that channel to fall asleep to, but with your station identification at the same volume as all the other channels, it is LOUD, extremely jarring, and always wakes me up just as I’m falling asleep.
