Indeed, you can assume they’re at least 20% above fair market value but more likely 80% to 100%. Exact duplicates I found on 1stDibs and TRR show asking prices of $800 and $200, respectively. Caveat emptor has never been so relevant as it is here. ### 4/5 — Perfect Intro - Antique & Modern *2026-05-19, version 2.21.3* At the right time 1stDibs had great value for antique jewelry to modern Jewelry. Sellers are responsive and honest (so far, so good. The shipper refused to deliver the piece stating that they don’t deliver to homes with multiple stairs. They then proceeded to dump the furniture piece in my garage. I contacted 1stDibs for a refund of the white glove service since they only provided shipping service. After over a month of back and forth, they refused to even partially refund the delivery cost. I now have to hire movers for the delivery from my garage to my home. So unprofessional! I’ve received better customer service from Target! As clear as the misrepresentation was, 1st Dibs provided no help & the seller insists on my paying expensive return freight + a restocking fee. No more purchases on 1st Dibs for me. (Would not have given 1 star if I didn’t have to.) ### 1/5 — Worst *2026-04-15, version 2.20.1* I’ve never encountered a more cumbersome off the mark program. Perhaps just incompatible with latest OS. Try buying and sending a gift to someone when your card address is your office not your home. The site said give the item 2 weeks to arrive. It’s been misery dealing with these people. They are zero help. I don’t know how they can feel they facilitate a sale. The item I purchased probably never existed. This is a fraudulent site with fraudulent products. I am extremely disappointed and they wasted a lot of my time for a very high value purchase. I bought a bracelet from I trusted vetted person from this website Only to find out the bracelet was glass. 3.5k they have held on to over 6 weeks one email every two days talking complete nonsense and asking the same questions just avoid this app no better than a scam! ### 1/5 — 1st Dibs Give Seller and Buyer different info *2025-07-21, version 2.16.2* Beyond difficult to use. I made my first order and it’s says it waiting on the seller, so I contacted the seller and they said 1st dibs is requesting more in for me, but I never got an email. She confirmed with a screenshot on her end. Why do they make it so difficult to use and make order. I ended up cancelling don’t recommend, as it’s been 48 hours and no one from 1st dibs has gotten back to me. ### 1/5 — ‼️Base pornographic photography‼️ *2025-06-18, version 2.16.2* I used to love this app and service. I thought it was an amazing way to be able to find an access unique treasures from all over the world. One of my favorite things I own came from this service. I was very disappointed to open the app today to look for more art only to find the opening page to be filled with base pornography! While I honor and treasure the incredible experience of being a human being and its beauty, I don’t celebrate base representations of men and women. This is incredibly disappointing smut‼️ I find this disrespectful, unprofessional, and de-evolutionary. I get one story after another as to why the refund has not been processed. You can not reach a live person as the (646) area code phone 1st dibs provides doesn't work.
