Not even quarterly. ### 4/5 — It would get 5 star but… *2026-07-01, version 2.6.9* I have used 1tap for many years, and yes it’s useful but however the issue I have with it is the limit that it has to read receipts automatically. The problem they face is people will turn to ai which is mostly free and unlimited. I am sitting here waiting for a month to renew to re register more expenses. I don’t have time for all of the manual typing i am having to do. ### 2/5 — You cannot write a report that is subtotaled by category *2025-11-29, version 2.6.9* I really wish that I loved this app. There’s a lot of good things to say about it. But when you want to run a report, you cannot run one that gets subtotaled by category. It seems like a simple thing, and they didn’t do it. The mileage and invoicing features have always just said ‘coming soon’ online and now the app has not even been updated to work properly with iOS 26. However, I use it primarily for my medical expenses. There are no categories for Medical expenses so I have to use other business expense as the category. I purchased the vat package which auto splits the receipt for vat, the only downside to the app. Is that it doesn’t total up the vat for a 3 month period so that the accountant knows straight away what the total vat is to reclaim. ### 5/5 — Need to access 2 phones *2023-06-05, version 2.6.5* Would like to be able to use 2 phones for same price, my wife doesnt work so she needs to be able to use it when i am not there! Regularly fails to upload receipts properly, often stores the same receipt 5-8 times; all of which have to be opened to be deleted and allow you to start again. Doesn’t allow proper editing if wrong category added by error; you have to delete the whole entry and look again. Previous years unavailable unless recent, so historical storage problems. Long winded wait for every upload and expensive considering how clunky this app is. Many photos don't align and fail to upload, but it takes so long you don't know it didn't upload until days later. Hard to keep track which ones to redo.
