My student was struggling with times tables and I tried several apps before landing on 1x1 Coach Voice - and the difference is night and day. The voice interaction is the key: they hear the problem spoken aloud, answer out loud, and the app listens. It’s multi-sensory learning in the best possible way, and you can tell it’s grounded in real educational thinking (the Montessori inspiration really shows).

What I love most is the flexibility. The ability to practice all the way up to 20×20 is fantastic for older kids who want a real challenge, and the option to weight harder problems so they appear more frequently is genuinely clever. My student stopped dreading math practice because it feels more like a conversation than a quiz.

Privacy-forward (zero data collected), completely free, and the developer clearly cares — they pushed a bug fix within a day of launch. One of the most thoughtful educational apps I’ve come across. Highly recommend to any parent or teacher.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
