The only improvement I would love to see is a hybrid map. I would like to see the route in satellite mode but with the streets and geographical names superimposed on it. Love the Rider section especially Favorite Rider window. Unless it was user error, and I’m pretty savvy with other racing apps, this one did not have real time video or even the highlights replay. Even days after the stage, it wasn’t present. It’s such a shame because we need more people watching races in the US and this app didn’t help that cause. When i click the start button the video plays for 1-2 seconds then goes to black. Interestingly i can watch the full replay of Monday's stage with no issues. Is there a fix or something I'm doing wrong? ### 3/5 — App Needs Work *2012-08-14, version 2.0* Live video stream hardly worked, and there were several instances where the tracker news updates didn't work either. I would like to suggest an audio-only feed option to reduce bandwidth, and simulcast the newsfeed on text messaging. Text simulcasting will allow for better transmission when we are on mountaintops like East Canyon, North Ogden Dive, Big Mountain, etc... Low signal strength from tower to tower precludes the use of data plans. I would also like to recommend the Tour Tracker audio feed be broadcast on a common AM or FM radio channel, for the same reasons as mentioned. One other thing... I do see it on my IPhone, but not on IPad App version. Please review. Thanks! Update: The Video Replay is labeled different on the IPad...just says “stage 1”. Let’s label it “Video Replay - Stage 1” next time to make it easy on all platforms. Thanks! ### 4/5 — Frame covers outside of pic covering race data *2018-08-09, version 8.1* First thanks for the TOU, and for this app. However when tossed to Apple TV from my phone there is a top dark cover and also on the bottom. In the center there is the large symbol for the Apple TV transfer They cover data. This is the first time I have seen this here. It is likely a program error when upgrading to the newer iOS. ### 4/5 — Great App, Network problems *2013-08-19, version 3.4* The app does a good job giving you info similar to the more complete looking desktop or laptop app. Any drop-outs people have had are due to the Internet feed from camera to plane to control room. This was not explained very well during the race. In many cases, excluding the day the plane could not fly, the problem was caused by the contracted provider of the link. It was explained to me as a problem with the local Internet feed. Everything had to go through that feed, narration, phones, video, GPS locations... the works. The problem is not with the app, but with the network.
