### 3/5 — Tracker was very unreliable!

*2024-05-27, version 7.0.1*

The app was ok on the whole but the tracking was poor. I missed my partner’s finish at Ride London because the app told me he was already over Tower Bridge and so I thought I’d missed him and yet he didn’t cross the finish line for another 20 mins!! Really disappointing.

### 2/5 — Adequate but not spectacular

*2023-05-30, version 6.0.1*

I was hoping to use it to track the ride itself on tue map but couldn’t, would it have been a stretch to implement that?

### 3/5 — Good app, but gps tracking drained phone

*2023-05-29, version 6.0.1*

Very late in arriving in the App Store but the app worked well. Unfortunately my phone went from 98% battery at the start to 10% at 65km, with 100km still to go.

### 4/5 — App slightly behind

*2023-05-28, version 6.0.1*

The app was behind towards the end of the race, showing rides at Canary Wharf where in fact they were just about to go over Tower Bridge

### 2/5 — App review

*2022-05-30, version 5.2*

Don’t think the app was accurate at recording finishing times.
Definitely a pop when ride finished would have been helpful.

### 2/5 — No gps I’d

*2022-05-23, version 5.1*

Still no GPS ID so app is pretty useless to me otherwise.

### 3/5 — Not great

*2020-08-15, version 4.0*

Felt the App was running rather long - we ended up cycling 102.5 miles according to Strava to get to 100 miles on the app, which we could have done without! We got notifications when we reached 25, 50 and 75 miles, but no alert to notify that we’d actually finished. Bearing in mind we weren’t cycling along holding our phones in our hands, this would have been particularly useful.

### 3/5 — GPS Tracking Not Good

*2020-08-15, version 4.0*

Did the ride today and had to ride 102 miles according to my Garmin to register the 100 mile ride.

Why could you not take a Garmin feed like Strava, would have saved me dragging a battery pack around the ride to keep the phone going

### 4/5 — Great App for those not riding

*2019-08-09, version 3.1*

All I can say everyone who I gave the link to could track me including family in South Africa.
Very good

### 3/5 — Needs improvement

*2019-08-06, version 3.1*

Clearly couldn’t cope with the sheer volume of riders. I was tracking 3 who completed the last 25 miles together but the app told me one was 8 miles behind the others. Also, when waiting the end, the app implied that they had about 8 miles to go but then I looked up and they were crossing the line. Not ideal if using it for timing of arrival.

### 3/5 — Good idea needs more work

*2019-08-05, version 3.1*

Great idea, but only really useful when rider had finished, not sure whether it was just volume of traffic trying to use the app but it did keep crashing and you were just left with a white screen and rotating wheel

### 3/5 — Tracking app

*2019-08-05, version 3.1*

The lack of GPS accuracy, particularly around Putney was very frustrating. General data on riders was good.

### 2/5 — Tracking was woeful

*2019-08-05, version 3.1*

Given that as a spectator most information contained in the App could be found elsewhere the one key feature was to be able to locate your mates and give them a shout! At 8.15 tracking my first buddy worked quite well, although it did eventually show him as having passed me when he came through. But my other two buddies just remained static on the app from about 9.00am onwards - no matter how many times I re-started the App their ‘position’ did not alter for well over an hour. Meaning that I missed them both :( Getting a notification that they had finished was nice but overall a massive disappointment.

### 3/5 — Doesn’t save rider details unless you set up alerts!

*2019-08-05, version 3.1*

Not impressed, whenever you come out of it you lose the rider you’re following unless you set up alerts, sort it out!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Absolutely dreadfully

*2024-05-22, version 7.0.1*

It won’t even open! Terrible!!

### 1/5 — Cr-App

*2020-08-22, version 4.1*

The app failed to track my ride attempt almost completely only logging 46km of the full 100km. Absolutely useless. Luckily I’m not relying on this for anything and also was using a Garmin/Strava device. Totally disappointing.

### 1/5 — Poor

*2019-08-06, version 3.1*

According to the app, my husband didn’t cross the finish line - he did - they’d run out of medals though 😡

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2019-08-05, version 3.1*

Didn’t work during the bike ride
Disappointing

### 1/5 — Lost signal

*2019-08-05, version 3.1*

The app tracking wasn’t accurate and I ended up missing my husbands finish. An error message that signal had been lost would have been appropriate

### 1/5 — Tracked Wrong Person

*2018-07-30, version 2.0*

The ride that was tracked was not mine. I did the whole route and the tracker said I took the Box Hill detour, my family was tracking me, when I met them in Putney the tracker said I was in Wimbledon.

### 1/5 — Broken, incorrect gps locations and more

*2018-07-29, version 2.0*

This app tries to be clever and predict where people are but doesn't take into consideration 3G/4G drop outs so when you reopen the app people's locations reverts back to the most recently cached location. One rider appeared to cycle through leatherhead 6 times. Only when they went through a chip checkpoint would they update (and even that was inconsistent) at this point, having missed all 5 people I was cheering on, i wish I had just checked the website for checkpoints and estimated when they would cycle past.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2018-07-29, version 2.0*

Great App prior to the race. But as in previous years it’s so inaccurate during the race. You cannot plan to see your riders en route as you have no idea where they are. As much as 30 minutes lag time on locations. Such a shame.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2018-07-29, version 2.0*

Doesn’t work!

### 1/5 — only works with lastest iOS

*2017-07-29, version 1.1*

Last years version worked fine with my iphone 4, the only way I can use it this year is to buy a new phone

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Recommended

*2024-05-29, version 7.0.1*

The app gave me everything I needed. If only all sportives were this professional. Recommended. Thanks Ford 😀

### 5/5 — Great app.

*2023-06-03, version 6.0.1*

I used this during RideLondon Essex 100, and the family used it to track me. It seemed accurate, and helped to make a great event even more fun.

### 5/5 — Race London

*2023-05-28, version 6.0.1*

Excellent being able to see where my daughter and her boyfriend were around the course . Great app would recommend.

### 5/5 — My Charities are not linked in the App

*2020-08-12*

The 3 charities I am supporting are not shown in the Rider details of the App. Appreciate your help in this. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Ride London App

*2019-08-08, version 3.1*

Had it just over one year now and done two 46 mile stages with it ( on a Brompton)
Works extremely well on both occasions and very accurate to the second.

The App has all the info you really need for these events, just make sure you put your timing tag ( as per instructions) on the seat post And in view ( not bent and tucked away) and you’ll have
No problems!

It’s free and quite honestly you need it if your
Competing in these events.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-08-06, version 3.1*

This was the perfect App for friends, family and supporters to track your progress. Especially helpful so they did not have to wait for hours just in case they missed you. Needs a little tweaking and perfecting but on the whole just what was needed. Thank you Prudential Ride London 😀

### 5/5 — Helpful app

*2019-08-05, version 3.1*

This is a great and helpful app. It was helpful for the lead up to the ride London 100. Telling us where to go and what to do on the eve of ride day and on the day of the ride the tracking of the riders was spot on for us riders and for family of riders to keep track of where we were.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-08-05, version 3.1*

I thought this was a great app. We were able to track the riders we were supporting and could see when they stopped, due to major accidents ahead of them. Giving key milestones and rates we were able to accurately assess when they would appear at the points we were waiting. Some little hiccups, such as placing them slightly ahead of where they were but those glitches were insignificant.

### 5/5 — Useful

*2019-08-05, version 3.1*

App works well! I could follow my boyfriend on the day and I was there for the finish in time.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-08-05, version 3.1*

This is a great app as it allows family members to track your progress etc.
Easy to use and a great design.
Well done team!
