Can’t flip back and forth easily when trying to manage attending multiple sessions. Multi-step process to figure out what time within a session a particular speaker is likely to be. And if I need to keep personal appointments I can’t write them down here—so I have to juggle the paper maps, my outlook calendar, the app….. and I am missing things I would have liked to know about. Having to scroll through every paper and board title takes forever, making planning ahead difficult. Have to have topic or person in mind to search for. ### 1/5 — Problematic searchability *2024-11-23* The app only lists presenters who are giving formal papers, whereas at least a third if not, they half of the sessions were round tables and other kinds of events. Every name that’s listed on the program should be searchable. Also within a session, when you find it, if you click on the title of the presentation within the section, you don’t see who the presenter for that title is. The only way to find the presenter is to go back up to the session title and click on presentation details. So the inconsistency between linking names with paper titles is problematic ### 1/5 — Little use, seems buggy *2023-11-20, version 4.40.0* Seemed randomly organized (how hard is alphabetization these days?), little information about scheduling or order of individual papers, and now seems to have stopped working altogether after the meetings — and says either “something went wrong” (on both iPad and phone) or instead claims that the session has not yet begun….? Don’t use this outfit again. ### 1/5 — Nope *2023-11-17* I shouldn’t have to sell my personal information to attend a conference for which I’ve already paid hundreds of dollars ### 1/5 — Cannot browse by time *2023-11-16* I wanted to find sessions at a particular time. I’m hoping the update does that. ### 1/5 — No way to browse program?.. *2023-11-14* Really AAA? ### 1/5 — AAA needed its meeting coordinator this summer *2023-11-12* The app should not allow random people to request meetings from others. This is a violation of privacy. The one role you don’t want to downsize in a shrinking organization is the guy who knows how to make the annual meetings run properly. ### 1/5 — Did not connect me to the conference *2023-11-08* I’m sure this will be fixed but the app didn’t connect me to the conference. It simply says “you aren’t connected to any events yet,” So it must be a hiccup that is…completely normal for this organization. But I still cannot recommend the app. ### 3/5 — My Event *2023-11-10, version 4.39.32* The Agenda is broken down by days, yet in the My Event section, you have to scroll through the entire list of sessions you’ve bookmarked just to see the events you’ve bookmarked on the last day… and on top of that, it doesn’t separate by time either (not in Agenda or My Event) so you have to scroll through all of the sessions, wastes time having to look for the sessions scheduled at a specific time.
