Isn't there enough boring beige in the world? Almost every house and business is decorated in beige. ENOUGH! If I'm going to enjoy sitting and playing a game, the colors had better interest me, and beige never will. Is it an interesting game? Yes, but it is just like a dozen other beige versions on this theme at the AppStore. You started to create a colorful niche with your blue and white icon, but then you fell off a cliff into a dull void of beige and earth-toned boredom. Has anyone ever looked forward to Spring because they missed the colors of dirt and pale mud? For a distinctive look for your app, look to Springtime and Summer for inspiration -- they are overflowing with gardens full of flowers, flowering tree-lined paths, and bushes heavy with blossoms, the colors with life! (I can't imagine a beige rose or tulip, and I really don't want to. Who would buy that?) Another source of inspiration would be the jewel tones: ruby, bright blue topaz, amethyst, and emerald would give your game distinction! I am deleting this app as soon as I save this review, but I would re-download the app if you changed the color scheme, totally replacing the colors associated with skin shades. What person searches the mall for a shirt in a shade matching their skin? No one; at least no one I want to look at! By the way men, if you buy a beige or brown suit, you are advertising that you are as dull and lifeless as the suit! Buy navy, black, or gray, and pair it with a colorful but dignified tie -- research has shown that you'll be promoted before Mr. Dull. My favorite game in the AppStore is thoughtful and colorful, FlowFree. That game is interesting both visually and in its play. FYI, my home has not one speck of "earth tones" at all -- just clear blues, smoky amethyst, lemon yellow, rose, and gray neutrals from silver to charcoal. These are the colors in nature that both calm and give energy. Perfect Tiles, Perfect sounds (You can Change or tweak if you want to), Perfect Visuals, and I love playing it with the infinite Undo Feature! In the normal 2048, My Highest tiles are as follows: Highest: 1024 2nd Highest: 512 3rd Highest: 256 And my current highest Tile with the Infinite Undo Feature is 8192! Thanks for the perfect game! Just the thing when you need to kill the hours on long international flights to the other side of the world or if you are stuck in a boring meeting. I have gotten as far as possible, which is playing 262144 with all squares filled with their maximum values from 131072 down to 4. You have to be very patient and use a lot of undo's. That accomplishment took about 80 hours of playing time. I wish we could post photos, I did get a screen shot. My high score is 1951186.
