App opens to a black blank screen, it will not activate camera to start scanning IDs. Newer iPad mini running IOS 16..?

**Developer response:** It isn't a fake id detector, does not claim to be, it is a scanner to do date math using the barcode.

**Developer response:** To use you need an ID that you want to scan.  It must have a standard 2D barcode on the back.  Just ensure you have proper lighting in the room or click on the torch text to turn on the phone light.  Hold the bar code in the camera view that the app displays.  It will decode the date of birth and calculate if they are above 21.

Working a busy door the app works about 75% of the time. Can’t use it as intended.

**Developer response:** Lighting conditions are a big factor in scanning.  I've made some improvements in a pending update, as well as newer devices, have better cameras in general.  I'd like to hear more about your environment and get a better idea of what may be happening.  I've done some extensive testing and only working 75% of the time isn't something I've seen.

the best app to avoid problems with the ABC department. Definitely I recommend

PROS: It works as advertised and doesn’t save information to your device like others do.

CONS: This doesn’t validate anything but what’s stored in the barcode which can be generated by any computer so it’s not fool proof.
