Feels more like a blog now. I will be withdrawing the subscription and purchasing the physical copy. ### 1/5 — Poor! *2018-12-13* Poor implementation. It says “tap for more” but nothing happens. Is something supposed to happen? Takes a LOT longer to download a magazine - for very little reward. ... and once it is downloaded I still need an internet connection to read it - what’s the point of me downloading it if I can’t access it offline? Needs a massive rethink - it’s not consumer friendly. 😟 **Developer response:** Hi Pt747, We have identified that the image galleries (Tap for more) are not working in the current edition, as well as there being a problem with the downloading, and offline access. I hate the new update that displays the magazine as a website. **Developer response:** We are very sorry that you do not like the new format. We carried out a lot of user testing before making this change and we feel that this solution offers the best reading experience for customers across all of the different screen sizes on Apple devices. We are reviewing all feedback over a measured time period to get a fair and accurate picture of people’s reaction to the new format. After this we will make any appropriate changes. We value your custom and are sad to hear of your dissatisfaction but, we hope you will stay with us as we make this journey. ### 1/5 — Must tri harder *2018-10-02* Really weak interface. The app is just pdf scans of the magazine so it is almost illegible on iPhones so you have to zoom in on the columns you are reading. You are better off buying the print editions. ### 2/5 — App is not up to scratch *2018-06-30* Love the content but the app is little more than a pdf. Still have a fault and cannot be rectified resulting in me having to archive issues and re-downloading to read. ### 4/5 — Fantastic mag - improved legibility would be a bonus *2018-02-16* Love the content but legibility on iPad mini / iPhone could be improved. A dedicated and font size adjustable layout rather than straight copy of paper magazine might help... Obviously can zoom with 2 fingers which is what I’ve been doing but this is a bit clunky. You can double tap to zoom quickly as well but this zooms too far! Perhaps as an in-between this double tap zoom level could be reduced or adjustable? My reference point is Cyclist magazine which is much easier to read (powered by PugPig). Sorry to go on - still a great magazine for everything triathlon! ### 1/5 — Great Magazine, awful service *2018-01-06* Paid for a full year online subscription yet I can only see December issue. Sent several emails and got one response saying technical team was looking into it. I am seriously thinking of asking for a refund if this is not resolved very shortly. ### 1/5 — App hardly ever works *2017-08-25* The app crashes all the time and rarely works. Annoying when you've paid for the mag. ### 4/5 — Almost Great. *2017-06-04* I'm loving the content, and the inspiration these magazines provide me with to keep current with what's new. I don't mind the advertising, as I consider myself a strong enough character not to be over influenced, but rather like the equipment that's available. However, I gave this 4 Stars only, due to several glitches with opening and general use of the IT features, which are sometimes slow or crashing. ### 2/5 — Not very good *2017-05-02* Magazine is great, prices is ok. Many thanks ### 1/5 — Rubbish app - I’ll resort back to paper *2020-01-30* I assumed this would replicate the paper magazine but on my ipad. I couldn’t have been more wrong - when it works it’s clunky and difficult to navigate. And having downloaded a full issue to read offline I open the app to find that it’s been ‘offloaded’ again. And then even with a good connection the download speed is prohibitively slow. Hopeless! ### 1/5 — Missing content *2019-04-14* The new layout is ok for me although I prefer the previous “real mag” feel, even if it was buggy. I read on my iPad not my phone but I can see if you only have a small screen it may be easier now (why not offer 2 versions though?). But most importantly, there is content missing. Where are the race listings? How about the summary of recommended kit by type and price? Probably other things too. Please sort it out. ### 1/5 — Appalling update *2019-04-05* New version of this app is really buggy - downloads don’t work properly, sections with “Tap for More” don’t work, content is missing etc. Support woeful...have to wait days for them to tell you to uninstall app and reinstall, and then have to go through redownloading all editions, only to hit another bug....and repeat. Thinking about cancelling subscription and going back to paper it’s that bad. ### 1/5 — Back issues not available as advertised *2019-03-20* I subscribed for 1 year in order to be able to access last year worth of back issues, however only current issue is available. I filled out Survey Monkey form provided to ask for assistance on Friday, today on Wednesday I am still waiting for someone to acknowledge the problem or contact me. If content I paid for is not available in the next few days I will be canceling the subscription. ### 1/5 — Not renewing subscription *2019-02-24* Changes to this app have made it impossible to use offline. When I first signed up I could download an issue and read it offline, this is not the case now. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. ### 1/5 — Rubbish-lots of download issues *2019-01-17* Rubbish App, it takes so long to download even on a fast connection, and never quite completes. I have to refresh is several times to keep it downloading, then it gets stuck on 99%. One plus point, the articles are presented quite well once you can view them. Although next time you open the App you have to download the issue all over again, completely pointless! Even though it only cost me 99p subscription, I can’t help but think there’s a lot of people like me who will buy it, realise it’s rubbish and delete the app. **Developer response:** Hi Ajones107, we are looking into the downloading issue and expect to have it resolved in the next version release. Seems to get stuck or go really slow around 58-65%. Never completes the download but it just starts downloading gigabytes and gigabytes and fills all iPhone/iPad space. Something very wrong with the app and a waste of a purchase. Instead of being able to flick through the magazine they have broken it up into separate articles.
