Recently can’t book. Keeps telling me to pre book a taxi all the time. And I need to pre book a taxi for 2 weeks time and after I’ve put the date and time in either says no taxis or to pre book again. Just not working at all. ### 2/5 — App isn’t accurate/unreliable *2024-03-27, version 34.5.11* Admittedly your fare is cheaper than Uber however having not used you in a while I thought I’d try again ordering my taxi via the app is said it would arrive around 1:45am. As a woman waiting alone I relied on this to be fairly accurate. My taxi arrived around 2:05am. I had called and the man was abrupt and lied telling me my taxi would be 10 mins when it hadn’t even been dispatched. Drive home was rapid, driver liked to drive fast which I’m not a fan of despite the roads being really quiet due to the time. ### 2/5 — Discounts never work *2021-12-11, version 33.4.22* “25% off until midnight” however the discounts never work. ### 3/5 — Rouge taxi drivers *2021-08-14, version 33.3.12* Hi The taxi that picked me up tonight stunk of cigarettes as a non smoker this is unacceptable. And while I’m on the subject over the last 6 months we have been picked up by what can only be described as un licensed drivers. To the point where I have had to direct the driver to my friends house in rushall and then over to Cannock. They turn the radio up in the back so you can’t hear what’s said on the phone as they are poaching jobs from yourself. I have never had any problems before and I strongly recommend that you look into the situation. My fares are normally between £14.50 and £16.29 tonight. Three weeks ago when I got dropped off the driver said £20 and I’ve never been charged that before. I always give a good tip if the fair is £14.50 I always give them £20 and keep the change. There is someone on your staff who is cheating you out of fairs and setting up a scam with their mates it’s been going on a while so it might be in your own interest to check it out. the taxis are not marked as 247 as per normal Thanks Karen Sent from my iPhone ### 1/5 — Cancelled booking when prebooked for 6 hours *2021-08-08, version 33.3.12* The time taxi was meant to arrive only just got call from the central control to say booking cancelled and would take an hour for another driver ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2021-08-06, version 33.3.12* Always been a loyal customer if 247, booked a taxi for 7 and rang at 7.05 and every ten mins after until 7.35 to find out that they cancelled the taxi without telling me, because even though the app confirmed the booking two hours in advance they decided that they didn’t have any availability, no point in the app, i won’t use the company again ### 1/5 — Family of 6 *2021-08-01, version 33.3.12* Was quoted 12.00 pound to get to first drop of abs told 20.30 that’s a joke and phone them fir them to say after 12 till 0600 it’s there’re busy time and time and half if they was that busy why did the taxis turn up after 10 mins when told 20 only came from willenhall to walsall 10 min drive ### 1/5 — If I could give 0 stars I would. *2021-07-27, version 33.3.10* Made an advanced booking for a specific time and was left standing outside in the rain for 20 minutes AFTER the time I’d booked for only to be told I’d have to wait a further 30. Making me soaking wet, angry and without any way of getting home. Awful service. Use ABC instead. After finding another number for them, over 10 calls and one and half hour wait at Birmingham Airport until 1am. Where if got a taxi from another firm. I was catching a train to the airport so booked the day prior to travel had the journey accepted and the payment taken. Five minutes after the booking and no cab in sight I called to chase. I was told a taxi was booked and would be with me shortly. I expressed the importance of arriving on time and was told it would be marked as urgent 10 minutes and 3 driver cancellations later I got a call advising it would be a while for the driver to arrive. I cancelled and got told that it will take 3 days for the refund. As an indication of the normal taxi availability in my area it took less than 60 seconds for an uber to arrive. ### 1/5 — Driver excellent wait time awful *2024-11-06, version 34.6.17* Appalling wait time added booking to app at 7.20am for 8:15. After ringing 6 times driver finally arrived at 8.57 when I had to be at destination for 9am. This made me terribly late not arriving until 9.18am. Find this appalling. I will say that the driver that did arrive was pleasant and professional and can say it was not his fault this job was not booked in with a driver early enough by base and a number of drivers were rejecting bookings. ### 1/5 — Deceptive Driver *2024-03-06, version 34.5.11* Driver tried to charge me cash although I paid via card via the app. The driver then parked out my outside my house for a few minutes. My whole family have been using this taxi service for 6 years and recently had been disappointed with their service. Some drivers make a fuss with my bags. It happened multiple times.
