And good luck trying to get a cab with another firm because they’ve spent the last 5 years squeezing out all the other firms in the area Can’t talk to anyone it’s all automated so you have no clue what’s going on. Shambles, just let us know if you can’t handle the workload instead of letting us book taxis which will turn up god knows when ### 1/5 — Unreliable and useless *2022-07-10, version 41.1.0* Made a booking a day ahead of time, received a booking confirmation, but when it came to the scheduled time the app simply told me it had not allocated a driver. Rang the main office number, and the call is intercepted by an automated system which acknowledges the booking, repeats the message about a driver not having been allocated, and with no option to speak to the call centre. The taxi never arrived, and I never received any callbacks or updates from the firm. Cannot use it again, and it’s made me less confident to even trust this firm with any bookings, via app or by phone, in future. ### 1/5 — Late or don’t arrive at all *2022-07-01, version 41.0.0* I don’t know what’s happened but 247 we’re always reliable but since this app came on line every cab has been late ( very) or not arrived at all in spite of booking hours in advance…very disappointing. I booked my outward journey for 1.30pm 2 hours in advance. My taxi arrived 15 minutes late - with no indication of arrival time until 5 minutes beforehand. For my return journey at 4pm I tried to book ASAP. It wouldn’t let me. It said I need to book a time at least 20 minutes ahead. This took 2 or 3 attempts to accept. 30 minutes later there was still no indication of an arrival time. Several calls to the “office” (ie computer) could not give any idea of a wait time. Finally nearly an hour after 1st trying to book, a taxi arrived without any advance notice. It’s always more then 30 min delay for taxis even if you book in advance. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fed up of this company! *2025-10-27, version 43.16.0* So I have been using 24/7 for years now and the entire time up until recently things have been fine,I use the app frequently to get to and from and 99% of the time I always pay cash I very rarely pay card,I had a car journey a couple of weeks ago early in the morning to get back home and I payed with cash,the next morning I woke up to a payment link to pay for the fair I had already paid for,I thought nothing of it as it must of been a mistake,a week later I got another payment link come through I believe I didn’t even get a taxi that day,once again I brushed it off as an error,I went to log in on Friday to book a taxi to a friend and the app wasn’t allowing me,it said it was waiting for a payment and could take up to 3 days,I waited 3 days,nothing,I tried logging out and back in but when I tried logging back in all I got was an error message and I’ve been unable to get back into my account,there are no help lines to talk to and I’m just at the point of confusion and stuck on what to do as I am absolutely struck for words,the company has gone down hill and I don’t think I’ll be using them anymore. ### 1/5 — Not Accessible for blind people *2025-08-15, version 43.13.0* I am blind and I use screen reader technology but you are completely unable to book a ride on the app as VoiceOver just does not work with the app and now you are completely unable to track it as if you phone up to book they never give you a tracking code anymore ### 1/5 — Get the app if you want to lose money *2024-10-28, version 43.7.0* Due to having to pay a booking fee on the app my journey cost me 12.40-14.40 whereas by calling and booking I only spent about 10.30. While the driver was friendly and the car was clean, my experience was not entirely satisfactory. The taxi was 25 minutes late, which caused a bit of stress as I had a train to catch. Additionally, I was repeatedly given inaccurate updates about the car's arrival time, which only added to the frustration. Moreover, after having the app recommended to me, I was disappointed to find that it didn't function properly. It struggled to locate me accurately and didn't send the necessary verification code, making the entire process more cumbersome. I understand that delays can happen, but it would have been better to receive honest and accurate information about the delay. I can book a taxi hours in advance and still be left waiting up to 30 minutes after the time I’ve booked it for - it doesn’t matter the time of day either! I’ve been late to work numerous times, been left waiting with my shopping and felt stranded with no inclination of when the taxi is going to arrive. If you call the office you are greeted by the ineffective automated robot before getting through to an actual operator, only to be told they’re busy and the cab will be there ASAP - it’s not good enough. The supply/demand is obviously managed very poorly or the taxis would be relatively punctual. The driver arrived and noted our party of 5 persons and immediately took it upon himself to arrange 2 journeys for us and charging only one start up charge. The driver took three off us first and duly returned to Pett to collect the remaining 2 persons in our party. The driver was so polite and helpful and I can only praise his customer service.
