thanks so much for the suggestion! unfortunately, fully automatic background recording isn't possible on ios β apple's security policy blocks the microphone from starting on its own without user action. what about the following flow? 1. you pick a specific date and time 2. at that moment, you get a notification 3. tapping will open the app and instantly start recording (one-time, not recurring) would this meet your needs or were you looking for something different? would be better if you describe the situation you want to capture!
