ويشكّل موقع 24 الإلكتروني جزءاً من مجموعة مبادرات إعلامية تحت مظلة "24 للدراسات الإعلامية"، وهو يلتزم خطّها الإعلامي والسياسي ويتوخّى خدمة أهدافها في المساهمة في تكوين بيئة إعلامية جادّة ورصينة ترمي إلى إشاعة قيم التعددية والتسامح وتعايش الثقافات ونبذ التعصّب والتزمّت بشتى أشكاله وتعبيراته.  

كما يسعى 24 إلى أن يكون جزءاً من مشهد إعلامي حديث ومتطور يستفيد من أحدث التقنيات في عالم الميديا والاتصال متسلحاً بقيم مهنية رفيعة تتوخى المصداقية والموضوعية وتبتعد عن الترويج لكلّ ما يتناقض مع القيم الإنسانية.  

يتكون فريق عمل 24 من نخبة من الإعلاميين الإماراتيين والعرب ممن يتمتعون بتجارب مهنية مرموقة ولاسيما في مجال الإعلام الإلكتروني، وهم في غالبيتهم من الشابات والشبان الطامحين الهادفين إلى إنجاز تجربة مميزة وجديدة على المشهد الإعلامي العربي.
