  • Very Very Nice,,,,,

Ok.. I got a free app that I love, but i wanted the bible on my touch that didn't need internet access, so i can read whenever i want anywhere. I am pleased. We will spend money on other things in life, but question spending on an app that is the best investment ever. If you want a great bible app this is it. Love all the features.

  • Great program with a couple glitches

First of all I wanna say how great it is to have a note-ready, search-ready KJV bible app on the go. Awesome job! I do wanna report a couple glitches though, mainly because I really like this program and if there's any way they can be adjusted it would be perfect!
1- the search is limited. I searched for Solomon and it didn't give me half of the actual references.
2- Glitches, the notes can't be emailed OR moved up once the page is full. I can't see my notes past a few lines because of the keyboard, and the page won't move with touch.
3- Finally, sometimes in search I can't choose the last book listed, it's below the screen and it won't let me touch it.
Anyhow, this is an overall great program, I hope that the creators can just adjust a couple minor issues to make it PERFECT!

  • Pretty good

I love this app! I only see one problem with it. Others may have already written about it, but I've not taken the time to read all the reviews. The problem is that if you want to view it in NSB, you have to set it to that everytime you open the app. It would be really nice if it would remember which version you wanted. Also it would be nice if the words that Jesus spoke were in red. Another thing is that I thought when I wrote a note, I could look at it anytime, but the note that you write can only be viewed if you are in the book or chapter where you wrote the note.

  • Hesitant to buy at first but now love it!

I was a little hesitant to buy it but for $3.99 it was worth a try. I love it!
Better than the free bible since you don't need to have a good connection to view it. The search, notes and bookmark features work good and are useful.

Good job! The next update should be cool.

Thanks for an inexpensive but straight to the point and effective app.

Perhaps we might get little features like highlights, daily reads and other goodies in some future updates?

Thanks again for a good app! This was the first paid app I've bought for my iPhone. Rightly so I suppose. ;)

  • Great start but need to tidy some things up

I love that the app is not web based which makes it faster. Now for the things that were overlooked. These are not not meant to be bashing but insightfull to the developer and for others. The search doesn't work, plain and simple. Bookmarks are only allowed for the first verse in each chapter. You can not read an individual scripture by itself, or highlight one to make it stand out. Those are big things that should be in every bible application. I am a developer myself and I can't see how those are either missing are not working correctly. How did these issues get past the testing phase? But like I said before, you have a good base to build on with your app being able to run off line. This has the potential to be a great app with a little more work and attention to detail. Maybe add more translations, strongs, daily verses to read, and a better notes section.

  • Beautiful and Feature Rich

Of all the iPhone bibles available, this one has the features I am most looking for in an iPhone bible application. Elegant interface, localized bibles and search are all a must. It definitely needs more translations but the obviously development effort put into this app already gives me complete confidence (Faith) that what they say will be forthcoming - will be for sure. I've already bought it.

  • Offline is the way to go

I purchased this bible first off because it requires no internet to run, LOVE!! that fact, it seems the wide range word search, book and chapter browser, book marks, easy chapter flipping, multi translations, notepad and the smooth operation makes it that much better. There are though..with all apps, are some things I find would be great to have. It would be a who;e ;ot easyer to find your place if the verse numbers where a diffrent color than the rest of the text, and maybe if you could have the bible text up with the notepad when you open it and of course a more variety of translations such as NIV and NASV... There is one defect that I find: When you search a popular word in the search box, the list of books it shows does not show the last if you have to scrole down, is does not show and stay at the bottom of the screen, but sinks below the screen making it impossible to open. I concider this a true mobile ebible, comparing it to all of the others I read up on.

  • Why would Athiests post here anyway?

This is a great application and an even better price. So I have no idea why a true athiest would bother to hang around a bible application site and make negative posts? These same folks wouldn't dream of insulting people based on race or sexual orientation. They urge us to appeal to our own reason by regecting the notion that God exists. They cannot imagine that in order for God to allow his creatures to have true free-will that he would have to stay out of sight. Even an athiest would worship God if there were physical proof! Where's the freedom in that? You see, there's a perfect balance between belief and unbelief and it cannot be proven either way. It's a Ying and Yang if you will, so go back to your Zen garden applications! LOL True Zen is about knowing what's in this best selling book of all time! Best of the bible applications so far..

  • Best of the crop at launch!

This is the most functional of all of the Bible apps available at launch. I'm a "competitor" for this space, if you want to call it competition and therefore, I've purchased all of the Bible programs available for review and research. This app stands out as the best written and most functional, even if it doesn't contain more translations right now. A true Bible app needs to be available offline, which is why I give this one higher marks than a couple of others. Secondarily, it has to have ease of navigation and this app delivers. I'll be using this app until my own is complete (which will be a free app with more functionality). Even having said all of this; I wish them the best. Competition is good for all of us and we will all do better because of this. Great job for a version 1!

  • Nice app. Best Bible I've tried on the iPhone

Looks like I'm the first to actually download and try the app. This is a great version 1.0 app. It's got search, bookmarks and notes. The navigation and interface is good. Let's you find what you want to read and then gets out of the way. One suggestion, how about a swipe jesture to jump to the next or previous chapter? Great work guys. Worth the money. I recommend this app!
