Good Othello game
This is smarter than the games on Installer were. Unlike some, I want a challenge. This game can actually beat me on the hard level occasionally, even if I don't do something outright stupid. (it would be nice to have Undo for errors with my big thumbs)
Some of these reviews are a joke. IDK, maybe I have an advantage as I've been playing Othello for nearly 30 years.
This game is very good for a freebie, no doubt. Thinks too long sometimes, (20+ seconds) does it really take that long for the AI to come up with something? Took off one star for that.Show lessSpiky47
Very good!
Very nice graphics, fast thinking. Good to be able to turn the hints off as you do not get them on a board game, but probably good for beginners.
I can still beat it in medium mode, but just. Been playing for years, though.
Undo would be nice!hhf

I was surprised at how hard the easy level is. I can't actually see how the medium level or the hard level us any harder.

The best Othello/Reversi on the iPhone
I've been playing this game for over a month now on the Easy setting. I'm impressed with how fluid the movement is and how well it plays. I've been beating it about 80% of the time, so I don't understand the angry reviews. The game does not cheat and I have to say that I've become a better player. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a scoring capability or a statistics setting so I can see how I'm doing. Hopefully a revision is in the works that will add that much-needed feature. Perfect score
I've loved challenging myself with this puzzle game since it was released. Have been going after the perfect score. Glad to say I cracked it 64-0, can't beat that! Maybe I can turn this addiction off for now.eyedcrisis

Spectacular
Solid app. Some may decry its graphics or interface but I'm not exactly what more they expect out of it. Othello is a board game played with black and white pieces on a green board. Aside from missing the bits of wear and tear, Morocco looks almost exactly like my Othello board at home. The AI is pretty solid but, at least for me, I began to be able to see through it and predict the moves it would make. I can now consistently get a wall in 5 moves, a corner in 7 and can generally predict what it will do in a given situation. It still can beat me, on occasion (especially if I avoid that opening combo), but I'd almost like to see a slightly harder mode. On the whole, though, Morocco is a ridiculously solid application. This is by far the game that I spend the most time with (even with it seeming a bit easy).Show lessBrodies
Underrated gem
I've bought a half dozen games for my iTouch. I like this free download better than most of them. An outstanding version of Othello, Reversi or whatever you want to call it. If you download it, be sure to go to the options area and dinkers around with the difficulty settling. At the easiest setting, the computer is merely a competent player. Move it up and it becomes unbeatable (for me). Outstanding free game.Show lessndogu
Great game, Does NOT cheat!
I just wanted to respond to the reviewer who thought the game cheats. It does not cheat. You are allowed to go twice in a row if your opponent doesn't have a move. I go twice in a row all the time. The message at the bottom states that white must skip a turn.Jedi J0E
