  • Very nice app

Good fun and free! Love how it saves on exit as well.
  • Great fun, but needs better AI for better players

This game is a fun way to pass a few minutes while waiting for someone or something. I played this game so much on the "hard" difficulty level that I stumbled upon a weakness in the AI that lets me put a piece in the corner after six moves. After that, its game over. I typically win with a 48-to-0 score. I am a so-so player: I play a free Reversi application on Mac OS X, and it always beats me on the third of five levels. Still, Morocco is not bad for a free app on a mobile device.

  • Where are the instructions!!

I've never played before, so I don't know how it works!! Why wouldn't they give me a clue.
  • Cheater!

Everyone who is complaining that this is too hard needs to read about the strategy of playing the game. That said, a beginner mode would probably be helpful, or maybe a tutorial. Or just do what I did and use Wikiano to read the Wikipedia article on it. Those who say this is not hard enough need to understand that not everyone is a Reversi tournament geek. Perhaps for them a level that is the equivalent of evil Snood would be appropriate. That said, I really like the app. It's simple and addictive during boring situations. My only major problem is that it sometimes cheats and takes 2 turns in a row! It makes me so angry, but then I realize it's a machine and being angry at a machine is silly. This does not happen in easy mode, but the other two levels have the problem. Also the harder the level gets, the longer it takes for the computer to take its turn.

  • Great Game

Really good integration. On the difficult level the computer plays a good game. This should be endorsed by the makers of Othello. Makes you think when you play but plays fast enough that you can always get a quick game in when you have that 5 or 10 minutes or more waiting in the line at the DMV. LOL.

  • Ecellent App

I've been playing Othello/Reversi for years, love the game, and the strategy of it. Now to have a touch version that is smooth and quick. Very nice. Not sure if some of the reviews know how to play, hard is tough (as it should be) but it is totally winnable.

About the only thing I wish was different... The phone takes too long to think on the hard setting, especially when it gets toward the end.

  • Can't believe it's still free!

I still really enjoy this game, though it was one of the first apps I got when the store opened. The AI levels are great for my skills - Easy for when I'm bored, Medium for when I want a good hearty match and Hard for when I want to really accomplish something and don't mind failing several times first ;-) The Person-Person mode is great for playing with my wife. The graphics are great, the interface is clean, and the gameplay is smooth — and you can't beat the price!

  • Great game, great price

Not much to say about this one. It's a Reversi clone with simple, yet attractive graphics. The AI Does a great job and manages to put up a strong fight. And to seal the deal, the game is 100% free. Do yourself a favour and give it a try.
  • Needs better AI

Nice graphics but the AI is too easy and predictable. I can win every time and often with the computer having 0 pieces on the board. Please update the AI to be more challenging. Thanks.
  • Eventually gets easy to beat

This isn't a bad version of Rerversi/othello. I've managed to get several hours of play out of it. But I found a way on the hardest level to win 100% of the time, 49-0. It shows the limitations of AI that I can trick it into ceding me a corner square on the ninth turn, every game.

Still, I don't expect to face a brilliant opponent and this is a nice time waster. I'd recommend it, but now I've got tired of winning every time so have to look for another game to pass the time.
