This is an amazing game! Good graphics, not too easy, has modes against the smart comp or another player, a variety of options and is FREE!!!
  • fun game, if your not any good at it

This game is a lot of fun, if you are playing on the easy levels. Once you put it on hard, you cannot finish the game if you are in the lead, or are going to win. I ve tried many times, but get to a certain point and the screen will freeze, saying "morocco is thinking". Every time i make it to the last few moves this happens, unless you are going to loose for sure. save your time an energy, and download a better othello app.

  • Best Othello game for the iPhone

Simple to use and a quite smart AI. Everytime it starts thinking for longer, you know, you did a good move ;)
  • My favorite free game

Those of you who are giving this one star because you can't beat it on easy are really pathetic. First of all, it's really easy on easy. I've never lost to it on easy when I've been paying attention. If you're really stuck, read the wikipedia article about reversi, and try again, that should get you started. Second of all, that's a terrible reason to give a great, free program one star. It's people like you who are ruining the app store ratings system. Anyway, on hard I'm winning about half the time. The other free game - "Othello" is a little tougher to beat for me, but I think its engine is focusing on a different strategy. However that game is fairly buggy, and it hasn't been updated in a long time, while this one keeps getting better. Also, Morocco has a two player mode, which Othello lacks, and me and my girlfriend have long tournaments when we're bored sitting in a theater or an airplane.

  • Pretty good, but not great.

I'm a big fan of Othello/Reversi, and so it's great to see it available on the iPhone. First things first: Morocco is indeed the best Othello/Reversi app available. That said, it's not the definitive version of this game by a long shot. Though the Morocco AI is vastly superior to its peers here at the App Store, it is still severely limited. A casual player will, in time, be able to predict the game's moves with dismaying accuracy. (I've figured out how to force it to grant me a corner -- and hence the game -- within 17 moves.) Hence the three stars: Morocco is entertaining .... but the definitive Othello/Reversi iPhone app has yet to appear.

  • Great game & it's free too!

Unbelievably strong AI on the difficult setting. Definitely makes you think about your next move.
  • Damnable Hard Level!!

I hate Morocco, I LOVE Morocco. I take it to bed with me, and I still have only beat it on hard ONCE, AUGGGGGH! It does take up a lot of battery, which is dangerous when I'm in bed, because I'll play it to 20percent battery and hopefully I'll remember to plug in and charge. Yep, it's THAT addictive. !@$#

  • Good but easy means hard

I play this game at least 30 times and lost each time on easy....hmm.
I haven't even attempted normal or hard. I will say the update actually helped me alot from losing as harsh. But I somewhat understand that if you got the walls and corners you've won or get close. Since the comp likes to take 3-4 turns after I have most of the spaces. I just hope in future updates it will bring easy to it's actual meaning...

  • Nice

    Great game, simple and addictive.
  • Wow

All that complain about how hard it is boo hoo because it is in fact a good thing it is so hard and that is because that means that the ai is really advanced. And if you don't know how to play the game figure out that it is a strategy game for people who like to think. Thank you for your time that is all.
