  • Yay

The update made it so much better!
  • An excellent update!

Ah... After the update it has gone from a pretty decent game for a freebie, to an absolutely brilliant game. You've fixed the visual problems... Highlighting the played piece plus the animation makes it very clear where the AI has played, and the whole thing looks a bit more polished now.

And it seems maybe the AI is improved a bit? I still mostly beat it on hard, but it doesn't seem to be making the completely nonsensical moves it used to.

    Great job! Thanks!

  • Hard to go wrong...

A simple, no-frills version of Othello, and I mean that in a good way. You can't beat free as a price, but it works just as it should and is one of the nicer-looking free apps to boot. Update: The 1.1 update makes Morocco even better - the new graphics are great, nice and clean, and the interface as a whole has been refined. There's no reason to even play any other Othello-type games available. Why and how it's free, I'm not sure.

  • Awesome!!!

It was great in it's original version, but the update (1.1) made it even greater. If only it was a bit faster...
  • Challenging A.I. makes you step up your game!

I have a ton of games on my iphone, mostly ones I paid for, and this free app gets the most play from me! Initially, even on easy, this game was spanking me hard. I was getting frustrated, I played 20+ games and I never won once! Then I decided to actually study HOW the A.I was beating me so soundly. I played several games, and really observed the moves the game was making, and started to understand how poorly I was playing against it. Long story short, in the space of one morning I went from NEVER winning, to destroying my opponent every time. When EASY mode was no longer a challenge, I went to MEDIUM and found I could win every time as well. Finally on HARD mode it is killing me again, forcing me to improve my game even more. Very fun and challenging, I just wish on HARD mode it wouldn't think for quite so long... sometimes it pauses for 30 seconds or longer.

  • Good AI

This game's AI is Good when the `touch' part is friendly. Some improvement areas:- 1) shorten thinking period 2) when iphone/ipod use black dice, he should be clever 3) After each step, the highlight of last step may be helpful. Finally, thanks for your good job. And more nice games to us.. Thx

  • I like it

After getting info from Internet on how to play this game and just playing it for a while I'm enjoying and beating the computer quite often. Some simple directions would have been great. Having the dots helped learn some strategy but I've not been brave enough yet to turn them off. A lot and quality for the price. Hehe!

  • Better than some of the others

I like this version because it - doesn't have overly fancy graphics - shows you potential moves in a clear way - has variable AI skill levels ('Hard' is slightly more challenging than a couple of the Othello games) The one down side I have found is that, on the hard level, 'Morocco' can spend a long time 'thinking' which can be frustrating!

  • A great free game

An excellent iPhone rendering of the classic game of Othello. Nice clean interface, three different levels of difficulty. And for free! Highly recommended.
  • Better of the two free ones.

Fun and easy version of "Reversi". I havn't bought the payable version of Reversi, but i prefer this out of the two free versions of the game. Good to play on the bus!
