  • Awesome Graphics

Nice app.. This really does show off the quality of the iPhone graphics capabilities! There is some glitches at the bottom of the Earth during rotation, but other than that very, very smooth! Can't wait to see more features add to this!!!
  • In addition to zooming,

I just witnessed, more or less, an "eclipse" on this app, and then looked at earth and immediately thought, "It would be amazing if you could see the moon's shadow on earth, and wanted to ask if you could do that... I would add 1 star for zooming, and 1 star for what I just mentioned above.
  • Pretty, but that's it

It does look nice, but it's rather limited at present. It's a shame that the moon doesn't look like the moon, and also that it's too close. But then doing it to scale would a problem. To see both the moon and the earth they'd both have to be tiny. Still, it's pretty and it's a good start.
  • Cool :) Thanx 4 sharing

I love it. I think some folks need to understand that the developer wasn't trying to make anything elaborate. But I agree that it has potential for more.

  • Good graphics, but inaccurate

I'm not sure which reviewer indicated that the app demonstrates the current positions of Earth, the Moon, and the Sun, but as an Earth Science teacher I can tell you it does not. It is indicating a position during winter in the Northern Hemisphere. I can't see any way to set it for the current date. I like it, but it needs more work.

  • Fun little idea.

This does no more than it says, but is kind of fun to play with (for a few minutes). I gave it four stars, however, in hopes that they might add updates with more, fun little elements, such as being able to zoom in on the earth and moon.
  • Neat little app

It's a neat little free app. The only nitpick is that it's scale is wrong. The size of the sun is too big in relation to the earth, and the moon is too big and WAY too close to the earth at that scale. (Gravity would cause it to collide with us!) So it fails the education test, but succeeds at the entertainment test. =)

  • Interesting, but kinda useless

How about showing real-time weather patterns, where your friends live, where you've travelled, having news items pop up where they occur (Like an unnamed video game console does). There is tons of potential. Right now, it's just a curiosity that you'll get tired of in a few minutes....
  • It's not that useful

This app has good graphics but, you'll never really use it much. It was fun for about 20 seconds, then, it was boring and it just took up space on my iPod. It shows the moon and the sun and how he continents would look like if they where in their night positions and day positions. Like I said earlier, it's not very useful and gets boring quickly. Plus, there are no extra features.

  • App mostly for space geeks...

This App would make an excellent iPhone screensaver (that is if Apple allowed it), although beside that its just you watching the Earth rotate around the sun. I would give this app an extra star if they added Mars--five stars if they added the entire solar system (pluto included).
