New video ads are too much
I love the game but recently video ads have been popping up in the middle of a game. Not just once but 2 or 3 times and nearly every game. It’s distracting and annoying. I understand that ads are needed as it’s a free game but in the middle of a game not good. If it continues I may have to try one of the many other solitaire games available.Show lessGemzz99

I play Yukon, Russian Roulette, Pyramid and Penguin regularly. Pyramid is my favorite 'thinker' games. Yukon is the one I go to several times a day as the need for repetitive thinking and simple tactile movment calms me down and helps me transition at bedtime to sleep. I can change games at anytime and add ones to my favorites at will. AND THE ADS are not particularly annoying as they pop up between deals and go away with a simple X-click, no wading through vids or trick screen link redirects. laj mpls mn usaShow lesslauraajames
Worried!!!
Very worried about the latest reviews regarding ads. I would recommend this App to anyone but if ads are going to keep popping up that’s a no!!!
If ads are going to randomly pop-up in the middle of a game then that’s reason to delete.... a shame as I have recommended this app for YEARS and have had it since the very first ever released iPhone original.

Nothing has changed with ad serving in several years. They show between games.One problem
I’ve been using this app for a really long time and have always loved it. One thing that drives me absolutely insane about it is the fact that ads now interrupt any music you are playing on your phone. It’s really obnoxious—I understand using ads and can be patient for that, but pausing my music means leaving the app to start it again. I just stop playing a lot of the time. I’ll probably find a new app to use if this keeps going.Show lessStefanistarship
Ads use Cellular Data Even on WiFi
Update 2: The last update took their ads to a new (and not in a good way) level. Unable to close, half the time when you try to close the ad you get taken to a scam site. This was the last straw, deleting and looking elsewhere.

Update: Turned off cellular data for the app. Now while on WiFi I'm constantly getting a message saying that cell data is off which should only happen when the app is trying to use it. Wow! Is the developer getting paid by the cell companies or just a poor programmer?

I used to love this app. The latest version brings up full page, redirecting ads after each game (including data burning 30 second videos) with minuscule close options that will redirect you to a marketing page or iTunes Store page if you miss by a hair's breath.

UPDATE: Political ads! If you are playing this game to avoid politics on TV, stop now. After many years of enjoying this game, I am deleting. It has gotten worse with every update and I refuse to play a game with political ads.
It gets old very quickly; the ads appear and you’re stuck for up to 10 seconds or longer before you can close it. The X to close is so small that half the time you click the ad, which is of course the point. I used to enjoy this game, played it every day, but the ads have finally gotten to me. There are enough other games out there that you don’t need to waste time with this one.Show lessTheG7
Political Ads...Beware
I have played this game for years. I particularly like the many, many options to customize gameplay. The ads are normally non intrusive, between games, introducing new games I may be interested in. But today, they’ve turned political. They are phishing ads asking for contact info and survey opinions. I choose games to escape. Not to be reminded of the current state of affairs.
Also, if this developer is taking money from one group and therefore stating their allegiance by doing so, they are likely to lose users one way or the other.Show lessGreat weather in NC

Can you explain why in the past few weeks and while I am playing the game my screen just goes black and days later it seems to come back on again of its own accord it has just done it again today ? Thank you in advance. JFeverton 4
Problem with new update
Updated review - understand ads in between hands but should have music. Sometimes playing in a quiet location and annoying that music starts. I shouldn’t have to have my phone on mute to avoid this.
Original review - Just downloaded update and none of the keys at the bottom are available, can't start a new game, can't undo, etc. Tried changing games, tried hard reset of phone, tried removing app and re-loading. None of these worked. Will now switch to another app.Show lessBiz0724
