Hate the new updates!!
I've always loved this app, nice and clear, colour changes available etc.. But I hate the latest update! The colour is washed out, it doesn't open straight away because the app icon weirdly loads as well, having the add products constantly on the screen is annoying and it takes two swipes to even get it to the bottom of the screen, just put it back as it used to be! If it isn't broke don't fix it! If you don't I for one, will after years of using it all the time will be deleting it.Show lessUbgdyghntj
Dislike new update
I do not like the bar that adds things to the list being placed at the bottom. Then, when you add an item you have to swipe twice to bring it back down to the bottom. It is so annoying. I don't like that it is always open at the bottom. I do not like the new colors. Also, I used to be able to just hold down and flip through the different lists without even picking my finger up. Now I have to "swipe, swipe, swipe, etc.". Not nice when you have several lists and want to go easily from the first to the last. I liked the last version so much better.Show lessgpmchung
New update had glitches
New update has glitches.
- app always opens in the same list. It used to open in the list you were previously in. I have 18 lists and the app always opens in the 16th list. I hardly ever use that list so every timei open it, i have to swipe about 15 times.
- items i'm clearing dont stay gone after i close the app if i dont go to a different list first. Example: if i clear a marked item on my grocery list and then close the app, the item comes back when i open the app. If i clear a marked item on my grocery list and then go to a different list and then close the app, the deletion will stick.
I also hate the add-an-item menu always on the bottom of the screen, it feels cluttered. But thats just an opinion, not a flaw.Show lessLizz1111zz
So-so in iOS 11
I’ve been using this app for years and generally like it, but the latest update for iOS 11 is not great. When you bring up the box to enter stored items to add to your list, you also get the keyboard, which is fine. But to make the keyboard and stored list disappear you have to touch precisely on the thin horizontal bar and drag it down the screen so you can see your full shopping list again. What a backwards step from the previous version. Why can’t you just TAP ANYWHERE on the shopping list pane to make the stored items and keyboard disappear? Until this is implemented, I won’t be using this app much and wouldn’t recommend it - too user-unfriendly.Show lessDso3
Love It! Get It!
Simple, nice looking, easy... PERFECT! I had used other apps, and this is the ONLY one to get for shopping of any kind!!!! I use the quantity area to put an expiration date and then put the coupon info on the item area, then I know what coupons I have and when they expire! I also build lists on favorite recipes, so I know what to buy if I think about getting items for it while at the store.Show lessJanie-Marie

Before this update I would have rated ShopShop 5 stars. It was my go to for shopping lists and packing lists. However, there are two changes with this version that just about ruin it for me. First, the bar where you key in the quantity and item sits there open at the bottom now. It cannot be hidden. It’s a complete distraction and is visually displeasing. Second, the color options are now muted and somewhat pastel, almost erasing the easy visual distinction between lists. I dislike this version very much. This app needs to go back to the older version.
The new version has your addition section at the bottom of your list and it clutters the screen making it hard to read all your items.
I also didn't notice the change in the way you delete checked items and almost deleted my entire list! Fortunately the new undo feature saved me.

Update:
Many years of use later and it is still a 5* shopping app. Great that it is still supported. I now use it on my 7+ and iPad Pro 9.7
Nice and simple, no bells or whistles, it just works! You don't need anything too complicated when you busy concentrating on the weekly shop - just doing that it bad enough.
I used it this morning for the first time and found it really is good. Recommended. Even better, now works with 3.1 after update. Thank you.

Simple and easy
This is one of my "old faithful" apps. Simple & easy. Add to the list throughout the week, then check them off while shopping. You can even easily e-mail or text the list to someone else. Scroll through the list of saved items to jog your memory for things you might need but forgot to add during the week. Keeps it simple & makes it easy. I never think about it much, but I use it all the time.

The best shopping app!
Have been using this for a few years now and absolutely love it! So simple to use, and i love that i can easily move the items to the correct place on my list. All items you add are listed in alphabetical order and then you can type to add items or go through your list and tap to add. The best shopping app for sure!Show lesskkmmt632
