Loved old version, hate new update
I love this app. When the new update came out I didn’t like it because I thought they took away that you could remove an item from your list once you purchased it. I did not realize that that is what the Check mark is for. I do love the new feature of the Check mark I just wished that I knew about it sooner. Keep up the great app. Yes I would recommend this app and have recommended it to friends who also like it.Show less147gamet
Update is terrible
I really loved this app until your recent update. You ruined it. My screen no longer locks when I’m using the app, and the option to keep my phone from going to sleep when I’m using the app no longer works. When I’m shopping with it, the bank of items I’ve created to choose my list from keeps popping up. It was so simple to use before and that’s why I liked it and constantly used it. Now it’s just a pain in the rear and I’m already looking for another app to replace this one. Why do people insist on “fixing” something when it isn’t broken to start with? As soon as I find a replacement app that does what I want and does it simply, I’ll be deleting this one. You should have left it alone!Show lessHot in Oklahoma
Simple, thoughtful, effective. And free!
We have been using ShopShop for years now. The author continues to maintain and refresh the app without losing track of its core values. The use of Dropbox for list sharing is excellent because it allows sharing between multiple AppleIDs using a free cloud account. The only downside is that the syncing occasionally gets messed up by simultaneous changes on multiple devices. I don’t know if that is Dropbox’s fault or ShopShop’s.Show lessKirkkerekes
Disappointed in update
I have used this app for many years and this last update has made it frustrating to use. I add things to my list but then can't move the list so I can put them in the order I want them until a good minute or more passes by for something to reset in the app. The box at the bottom is always in the way of my list. When you add an item using the box it enlarges to the top and when you go to close it you inevitably hit the title box which then asks if you want to delete the list. I'm ready to find a new app after using this for several weeks. Sad to see that updating just for the sake of change has ruined a good thing. Don't fix it if it ain't broke. I have used this app for many years, and now I just find it annoying. I thought it would just take time to get used to it, but that's not happening. I dislike all the "new" and not so improved features, but the one I had most of all is the necessity to swipe the screen down in order to view your list in full screen mode. More often than not it takes a couple swipes only to inadvertently draw a line through items that you didn't intend to check off.

Disappointed
I’ve always loved this app and have recommended it to many people but I’m really disappointed in the update. I find it really annoying that the bit at the bottom where you add things to your list is permanately there, when you try to scroll up your list, that goes up and can be very frustrating, especially when your in a hurry.Show lessRollenblackout
Disappointing upgrade
Have been using for years. My most used app. But the latest update has taken a step back. When you delete an item in a long list sometimes it goes to the bottom. So need to scroll up. It unnecessarily goes to the option to change list name when you want to get back to it. Sometimes you can't scroll beyond screen size. Changes have made it worse not better.

Ain’t broken, Don’t fixit
My review is based on the current update of this app. I use this app for all my todo lists, groceries, and basically anything that requires a list. It was perfect in it’s simplicity. You had it right and now you broke it. Why do I have to “see” the input screen constantly now? Taking up space on my iPhone SE’s tiny screen. Why do I have to pull down on the memorized items list now, only to struggle when it pulls the apple notification screen down instead. There was absolutely no value to this update and feels like Microsoft update where change is made for the sake of change. Rating is for latest update, was a 5 star
I'm with everyone else, this update made an awesome app virtually useless. I had an extensive list created including sizes we needed to know for things like furnace filters etc. Now all I see are recently used. Seriously? Bring back the previous features as everyone else is saying to make this once again a 5 star app. Until then I'm off to search for alternatives.Show lessKathys26
