it’s the main reason i love and got instapaper but i’ve complained 2 times over the past 3 months and it’s still broken and i still have not gotten a word wen it will be fixed and i can’t get a refund i might have to cancel my subscription if i don’t get any updates and try to find another text to speech appShow lessoz717
Better than Safari Reading List
Safari Reading List doesn’t save pages for off-line viewing for many people, even though Apple says it does. Instapaper works much better, and even saves your reading position so you can finish an article later.Intruth
Price is obscene
I understand that Instapaper is a business and that its ultimate goal is to earn some financial compensation for the services it provides, but the increase in the subscription fee is simply outrageous and excessive. Moreover, the app is not worth even half of that money. There are plenty of better read-it-later alternatives out there, and they are free and open source software. For example, Omnivore, which has significantly better features, integrations, and user interface. Catastrophic Fail
I have used Instapaper since its launch in 2008. In the last few days (Dec 2023), the premium price has doubled, and permanent archive has been launched. I did not expect this to mean that my saved articles and bookmarks would all disappear, but they have. After I have recovered what I can from back up, I’ll move on to something else.Show lessgfc123
Glitch
I got the app 20 minutes ago and there seems to be a glitch. The search, highlight etc bar started to appear blank.beatrizbalderrama
Excellent
I was a long time Pocket user, but they lost their way and made their user interface almost unusable. So I switched to Instapaper and it is wonderful. It’s clean, simple, and so easy to use.Cuthbert71
I love it!
I am one of those people that downloads a ton of apps, but I never use them. Instapaper is one that I actually use on a daily basis. I love it. I previously used a similar app, but for some reason would always read all the advertisements that were on the webpage also.
Instapaper is great, because we all know that when we’re busy doing something it’s so easy to get distracted by things that we want to look up/research. Instead, I just Google what I’m looking for added to Instapaper and let it read it to me while I continue about my day. Highly recommend!Show lessAshleyrenae0989
Highly useable and great design for reading
Lovely minimal and elegant design. A decent set of features that covers all the essentials. Send-to-Kindle integration. Solid reliability and stability. In essence everything to support doing lots of reading and nothing to distract.
I would like to see some more advanced features like tags, but they aren’t super necessary. The devs seem to be constantly working so manage they’ll get added in future. In the meantime the app is more than good enough.Show lessKnut78
Bug fix- keep colour settings when returning to app
I really like this app, it’s so clean and simple! The dyslexia font is very helpful. The one bug I find really annoying though is that when I leave the app and return, the colour always revert to black on white. I wish I could set it permanently to white text on black.Looking to stay informed

If you install a translator directly in the application to translate a certain article to a language you want. You will be for me the best on the market.Kroiesma
