An Outdated Legend
This app is the core to my daily reading routine and has been for years. Unfortunately, it appears the company has just been coasting on its success for a long time now. It uses minimalism as an excuse to remain somewhat clunky, has poor Apple Pencil functionality, no organise note taking system, the endless scrolling of folders needs a rethink, and no app for Mac which makes handoff incredibly arduous as you go searching through your safari tabs.
Please keep this app alive. At this point I’m starting to search for something better.Show lessXavier Vasco

I tried this app when it first came out it was free, and I loved it. It seamlessly saves favourite articles and it easily arranges them folders of your own making if so desired. It is quick and convenient without fiddling and sorting. I was happy to pay the nominal monthly fee. Instapaper iPad and IFTTT = heaven
This app is one of my must have have reader/capture/mail tools
I can be scanning anything on a browser and then just one click it away to instapaper for reading later off line.

Best App for Research of Any Kind
I love this app. It allows me to pull web pages from the internet and save them in pdf form as well as emails, notes, background checks, videos, case law, online news articles, archive documents, etc. It’s the most user friendly app of this kind, it’s sortable, searchable, has speed reading, and speech options for reading options, clips web ads, and costs less than lunch at a fast food restaurant. It syncs to all your devices and includes cloud storage for your articles. It’s as easy as hitting the share button on your phone or iPad. This app simplifies your life.

I use this app every day if not several times a day. Saving articles is so easy & convenient & they remain safely on file until I’m ready to read them. How to Delete or Rename Folders???
I’ve just come back to Instapaper after not using it for a few years and I’d forgotten how useful it is.
However, I want to delete my old Folders and I can’t work out how to do this. Is there a User Manual somewhere?c2430
Wikipedia issues
This app would’ve been perfect for me, except it won’t import any information on a Wikipedia page that’s inside a table. And there isn’t a placeholder where the table would be, so there’s no way to know that you’re missing something.
It also doesn’t show you the table of contents for Wikipedia articles. I don’t need them to be clickable links; it would just be nice to see the TOC so that you can see the layout of the article, so if you’re only wanting to read a particular section, you can find it without slowly scrolling through the whole article and reading every heading.
Most of what I was wanting this app for was Wikipedia, so these issues kind of make the app a no go for me. If these issues were fixed, the app would be super useful.Show lessshadoboxer
Disappointing bugs
I’ve used Instapaper for years since it’s initial release and I’m finding myself considering switching for the first time in years. Excessive bugs have crept into the app to the point it is not even functional. On top of this, I’ve paid for this app several times over the years, and every time management gets switched we’re asked to either pay full price for features we previously paid for or pay a subscription to unlock the same features. I try to support developers for apps I find useful and I refuse to put another fine into an app I’ve paid for before, that doesn’t even function.Show lessjwion1
