Not working
Not working on my iPad mini version 4. Tries to open but closes automatically on select game screen.why? X2
App crashes, sort of.
The Kakuto game resets if the app is interrupted. If you receive a call or happen to switch apps for any reason, all progress is deleted and you have to start from the beginning again. Frustrating.Long Roller
Sleeping screen resets puzzle
I’ve been playing daily for ages. Something happened about a month ago and now if I need to leave my partly done puzzle, even just by turning of my screen, when I return the progress I’ve made is erased. Please fix this. It makes me not want to start a puzzle.cmbc404
Very good except for one thing
Generally it’s very good and well recommended. One major thing which has only just started to happen (why?). On iPhone, if you leave the page temporarily to, for instance deal with message received or screen blanks for time or, all you work is lost and you have to start all over. Especially when in middle of a ‘diabolical’.
Minor thing: on iPhone (again) and playing killer, totalising numbers in top left corners can get obscured behind frame. Very occasionally not readable - even more interesting game then!Show lessRKevinBrown
Love this game
Why does this app now make your game go POOF if there is any interruption during a game? I see other people are just as frustrated so why isn’t it fixed?
I have been playing Cool Sudoko for years. Love that you added WordSearch but you really need to check out the games. I play this on one of the newest ipads. 1. Not all the words load so you can’t complete some of the puzzles. (Unless you can guess what the last words are)2. The Christmas puzzle has some words in the middle of the puzzle that some people may find offensive. 3. You have in the description on the new update that apparently you will at some point be charged for playing WordSearch unless you would like to submit puzzles but no explanation on how you can do this. 4. In the puzzle Flora the words Rose and Sunflower was listed twice but only once in the puzzle. 5. In Leafy vegetables - lettuce is spelled luttece. Great puzzles spoilt by niggles and bugs
I love the puzzles but like many recent reviews have said it is spoilt by bugs and other issues. For me they are:
Kakuro - starts with pencil options. You can get rid of them by clearing possibles in the options menu, but why are they there in the first place?
All - if you exit or simply because my phone times outs, when you open back up all your progress is now lost. This never used to happen.
Killer - on my iPhone the block totals down the left hand side are too close to edge and so are not easily read. 6 and 5, 8 and 3 are easily confused.

Thanks for prompt upgrade to prevent crashing. Incredibly good, but the competitive element is not necessary.
It would be good to retrieve previous puzzles were one to miss a day or two.
Not sure why one has the table of possibles; too much useless information.
There was a request for a tutorial; willing to do one for others, but to do it properly it will have to be on a separate document.
The new upgrade has partially hidden the numbers on the left so it is difficult to distinguish between a ‘3’ and ‘8’, sometimes a ‘6’, on an iPhone.
I am downgrading it because it wipes the input if you don’t save it as you go along (by the cumbersome method of ‘Exit’, followed by ‘Puzzle of the day’) if the phone switches off, or one goes to another app. So many times I have had to start from scratch.Show lessSwannhouse
Fix the bugs
Most egregious is data loss on partially worked puzzles (at least Killer & Jigsaw) with latest release. Frustrating. Clear possibilities doesn’t work on Kakuro. Shouldn’t come up by default anyway.Col4c
Frustrating
I like the variety of puzzles, the different types of Sudoku game and the different levels of difficulty offered each day. However, what is so frustrating is that if you have started a puzzle and then switch temporarily to another App, or if the IPad goes to sleep through inactivity, the puzzle has a habit of resetting itself back to the beginning.Show lessfrustratedgamesaddict
What’s gone wrong?
I usually play this every day, but suddenly this week my game progress disappears and reverts to the beginning every time I click off the screen - to look at a text, or open another app, for instance. All my carefully worked out and filled in numbers gone and the puzzle blank again. Incredibly annoying and frustrating! I just can’t play it anymore - after two years of daily enjoyment.
