So I tried this app to see if I liked it before I baught the full version. I went to buy the full version for 4.99. A pop up came up that said Iphone 3.0 software needed to continue downloading. So I need to know what this means and how I can fully purchase this app. I have the silver backed 8gb orignal Iphone.

I personally love this app. I have enjoyed using this app when I'm bored or want to plan out larger works of art. I was super frustrated with trying to draw on such a small screen until I figured out that you could zoom in and out much like you do with pictures on the iPod. It works great and I'm personally pleased with it.Show lessHawkeye~
Sorry but control is...
The controls just don't work well. The problem is the it isn't at all acurate as you simply control it with a finger/thumb which mean pretty much zero precision, even with the offset. I'm made many great images on the DS version but with this?I struggle to get a stickman to come out the way I want it to.=

Awesome but...
I cant believe there isnt a save and you have to pay $5.00 just to save ur drawing! You should b able to save ur work on the lite version too. Otherwise its great cuse u can zoom in and out like on a web page which is pretty cool :)g0d 0f t0ast

But I like the ds version better. It was pressure sensative so if you pressed harder on the screen more ink would come out or would increase the thickness. But this one is still good. I can't wait until the DSi comes out(around spring 09)LJ26

This is an amazing app that many have not yet tried out. If you have used the ds homebrew version you are probably looking for this... Though not free, this app uses pressure sensing and realistic "finger paint" ish effects to make their app unique from the crowd. The genius inventors of Colors have also made a gallery which you can access thru the app and post pictures to. Saving Your Creations...
After your done with your painting with colors lite, you can't save it. But you can take a screen shot. A lot of people take screen shots for their reviews and what not about the iphone. It's useful here but the tool bar gets in the way. Once you upload them on to your computer just crop it off in a simple paint program. All you have to do to take a screen shot is press and hold the sleep button and then hit the home button once. You'll see a flash. Be careful, if you quickly click both buttons at the same time you will still take a screen shot but you risk accidentaly pressing the home button first and you could loose your painting. Don't forget, you can use this capture method any time on your iphone. You can even try it right now. Hope this helps!Show lessMarisa S.
