It’s best for me; after long time of trying to have a good and permanent dictionary; now I have it; the best point of the app is every day has a new word to you…. Interesting words to read and learn. My previous experience about digital dictionary was not good enough because after some time it was not work. But it is a great tool to get started with the app and learn more; you’ll be happy when you see a new word that it sent to you. Seems like these apps *updated/New* versions have a great
Thing going & then take more and more away. It was nice when there was customer service that was humane and decent. This dictionary however DOES have words in it, and definitions. It does have a search bar for words you want to look up. The response from the app team will most likely apologize that I’m unsatisfied and whatever but honestly keeping quiet about reviews is all changing, hopefully it helps the developers lend an ear to the users and we I. What about having a section for rhyming words?
The app has the traditional features; but it seems to me that rhyming words is an important service for many reasons which I will not elucidate here. Maybe I should just look elsewhere???artbyDrina

I have very challenging eye issues and it’s very hard for me to read my Bible on the white pages, so having the accessibility choices is awesome. I love the font size choices and audio commentaries. I prefer the black contrast background and I can read for at least an hour without any problems then when my eyes are tired I at least have the choice to listen to the audio commentaries. I wanted to give this app four stars for overall quality. Instead, I find myself giving it one with the wish I could give it none.
Every time I open this app I am prodded to give them 5 stars. Obnoxious. The app doesn't even recall where I left off: dictionary or thesaurus. Great programming. They are so intent on shoving "new words" into the lexicon that they forgot all about the wonderful list of words that need more using. Elegant and eloquent words. But, if they want to reinforce speaking like trash, well they're on the right track. How tragically hip. English used to be a magnificent language, but now that organizations/apps like you and yours keep giving affirmation to the dumbing down of our language, we are being reduced to a bunch of emojis. Not what I expected
The name on this App is Advanced English and so I expected to find most of the words not to be ones that I use in everyday conversation. I thought I’d find a few obscure words each week that I could learn of their etymology and perhaps integrate them into my vocabulary but I find that this app is more for 3rd or 4th grade school students rather than an English major from Williams College.Show lessThe Etymologist

App said it was dictionary AND thesaraus, but it is actually just dictionary. Too much advertising on the screens. The “Words if the Day” are silly, way too easy and does not show how to use in a sentence. Disappointed with this app.GodsgalMN
