Don’t waste your time.
This app is garbage. If you can get it to work, it will spam you with a microtransaction request before you even get to the first level. When you get to the first level, which is so simple a three-year-old could complete it in one try, you are constantly interrupted by aPac-Man character telling you how to navigate the maze like we don’t all know how touchscreens/controls work. I didn’t play past that. I immediately tried to find Classic mode. Well, guess what: Classic mode doesn’t exist anymore! It’s just this stupid story mode in this stupid cash-grabbing app. They’ve even removed the old classic version of Pac-Man from the app store, so unless you had that app downloaded before they removed it, you can’t play Classic at all anymore! Whoever owns Pac-Man now must actively hate the player base, because how else could they feel justified in treating us like nothing more than a bunch of piggy banks that will just drop a quarter every time they feel like shaking us down? This app is malicious in what is being done with it, in the ways it collects data and in the ways it tries to convince you to hand over your money in exchange for something that has no real-world tangible value. This company is not being run by people who care about you. Do not support them.Show lessF'lip
Don’t like story mode
I used to have this game, but then I deleted it (I cant remember what for), and so I got it again today. I used to love it, but now I don’t. I hate the story mode thing. Are you able to turn it off or something?
Also aren’t the ghosts supposed to follow you? Cause I even made Pac-Man go right up to them but the ghost just went away…..? Doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of the game?Show lessa great fan of this game

Ruined by Completely Replacing the Game
I paid not to see any adverts, and used to enjoy collecting tokens to unlock new mazes. I loved the seasonal mazes like Halloween and Christmas. But those days have gone.
Now the entire game has been replaced with “Story Mode”. Not only have all of the mazes I played hard to get disappeared but my purchase to remove the adverts is not being respected. And the ads are long and very intrusive. It seems that you can’t do anything without being forced to watch an ad.
I have no objection to introducing a different mode, but replacing the original classic game which is the reason everyone bought it, is just wrong.
The only possible reason I can see for doing this is pure marketing. Namco saw how many people liked the classic Pac-Man game, so instead of risking marketing a new game, they stole all the historic previous reviews for the original one.
Well done, Namco, for completely ruining my retro experience, and for not honouring the money I paid you to remove the ads. Capitalism wins yet again.Show lessPollitoIngles

Can’t pay to turn off ads
The game asks for your age, and my daughter is in the 2-12 range. Why are you showing ads to such young kids and trying to get them to install new apps. This is unethical and greedy. If I could pay a few $$ to get rid of the ads I would. I really HATE this new approach - which Angry Birds does too - of constant and unrelenting advertising to children. One of my favorite games ever and they changed it to this horrible story mode!! The reason I loved this game was because they let you have a little door to the past and be able to play the original, classic, and one of the most fun games ever!!!! I excepted that they wanted to attract more crowds thru the other versions of the game and even story mode but forcing us all to play story mode makes me so sad that they had gold and instead of keeping it they grounded it up and threw it down the toilet drain. They shredded up that door to the exciting marvelous original game and ruined one of my favorite parts of my day and got rid of being able to have a little bit of friendly and fun competition with my dad to be able to spend time with him a little bit more.Show lessYipikiyae
