Just downloaded the app. So far so good. Has more features than other similar apps, quick and easy to use. Probably 5 stars when I’ve used it more!
  • Frustrating

Using RTF, the screen view is not what comes out on the paper. Large fonts run the printed document off the bottom of the printed page and prints only 1 sheet of paper. After saving as a plane text doc., I couldn’t find the print option anywhere. Using an iPad Pro w/latest software update.
  • Frustrating

A useful text editor but saving files is an infuriating process. You have to come out of the editor then look for the file on on the iPad’s filer app to see where it’s gone. If you cannot find it it’s probably in an area called ‘local’ which filer cannot see. You have to move it into iCloud then search for it again. Then you can save it where you want it to go.

Next time you save a file it will probably go to that location whether you want it to or not. I have found it impossible to save to a particular folder first time.

If I use ‘save as’ I want to define both the name of the file and the folder to save in.

To be useful to me, this app needs to integrate seamlessly with TextEdit on the Mac, and it doesn't.

  • Syncing with OneDrive doesn’t work

The login system fails. Despite being able to login into OneDrive on every other app, for some reason it loads it as incorrect password.
    Can’t use because of this.

Literally copied and pasted password from a successful login to OneDrive in an other app. So don’t say “You sure the password is right?”

  • One of the most useless apps ever

For some reason when you open the app it's impossible to type or paste text into the editor.

Shouldn't a text editor app allow you to type without having to read a manual?
  • Worst App I Have Ever Used

I’m not usually the type of person to write a review but I felt that this app deserved it more than any other I have used in my 12 years using iPhones.

It is without a doubt the least intuitive and least friendly text editing app I have encountered. Nothing behaves as a good citizen of the platform, the UI is clunky and unintuitive and it does no respect basic iOS conventions regarding sharing or handling of files.

No, I will not give you access to my google drive account to add files, USE THE APIS PROVIDED TO DO THIS.

Had I been capable of reviewing this app with a zero-star rating I would have.

The only positive thing I can think to mention is that the app doesn’t crash on launch, though if I’m being entirely honest it would be less frustrating if it wasn’t even capable of launching.

0/5 stars. Next time write an app that isn’t steaming garbage.

  • Cloud sync nonfunctional

App won't connect to Google Drive or Dropbox. The error for Google Drive says the app has not been verified, which is worrying.
  • Email attachments stored on my phone

I can store email attachments people have sent me on my phone and look at them off line.
  • No Sorting Features

I couldn’t even try to use the app because I couldn’t find the files I needed. I need a text editor to use with Dropbox and although you can access the files, there is no sorting options (alphabetical, by date, etc.) . The files aren’t even sorted alphabetically, they’re just listed randomly so you you have to scroll through them all (folders as well) to find the one you’re looking for.
