Classic FM is THE BEST!!!
Well, I don't know how you have managed it, but this new app for Classic FM is better than ever!! I absolutely LOVE Classic FM... I don't know what I would do without it! Here in the States it is soul- soothing and refreshing to listen to. The Hosts are superb and the music revives your very being from the pace of a very hectic and stressful world. Finally! I can listen to my favorite radio station in the world :-)
I am so thrilled! I lived in the UK nearly 4 years and just fell in love with Classic FM. I love classical music and I've been to 21 countries, this is by far the BEST radio station in my opinion. Yes, you do hear all of the radio commercials from London on this app, but I personally don't mind because it makes me feel like I am back in the UK, even though I'm in DC.
The music is superb and there is just something so comforting about listening to the familiar lilt of the announcers British accents.
The app is running perfectly fine on my iPad and I've installed it on my iPhone also. No issues so far, but if there is a problem I'll update my review.

Thank you - Classic FM 100!
I've had a lot of trouble getting Classic FM 100 to play on my Mac computers - in fact, no luck. My husband easily streams it via Streema on his PC - errrgh! Just spotted this app on the station's website and I was streaming in seconds to my iPad. Hurray! Hoping it works well on the iPhone
This is probably one of my most used apps on my webOS HP TouchPad and I think that the selection of music is absolutely excellent. The UK advertising is kind of fun to listen to just because it's not the norm for those of us in different countries. Fortunately, there is not a lot of it and it's not terribly annoying. I was excited to see on their website that there's an iPhone app for this and am hoping the interface isn't as buggy as the webOS version. The music plays, but the current track isn't always shown. I'm guessing the station won't stream well unless on wifi, but I'll give this a try anyway.
Update: Tried the app with wifi off and it sounded fine. It might have helped that my iPhone had a strong 3G signal at the time. It's a plus, regardless!Show lesslfrecklesl
